UNF - Shares of Unifirst Corporation soar today on good earning news. The stock price has crossed the 20-day moving average to the upside, a buy signal and an indication that the stock price may have finally reached its bottom in mid-June. Next resistance level is $45.30 ( 50 dma ). Support level is $43.15. I will keep on eye on this stock.

Shares of Gigamedia soared 12.44% or 27 cents to $2.45 per. The technical daily chart shows the stock is in a rally as K line is rising on top of D line as the price is back above 20-day moving average. In addition, the short-term downtrend line has been broken. At this stage, we can expect to see higher prices in the weeks to come. Another bullish indicator is the MACD which has made a cross over and bullish momentum has returned to the stock. The stochastics have turned up and RSI is now back in a neutral position. All short-term indicators are in upward path.

This is another stock I am watching closely. GNTB can pop big time on any positive news. The technical daily chart is showing a double bottom here. In addition %K line has just crossed on top over %D line showing strong buy signal as ROC is at oversold level. On balance volume is also showing positive divergences. I will look to buy if the stock breaks above 0.345.

LVLT has pulled back into support and may offer some value here.

AMZN is at critical support near $115.94. The stock could go either way depending on how it deals with a major trendline.

CCI seems to be forming a cup and handle formation. The break-out price is above 39.86. As long as the price stays above 38.37 I think this stock is still good. Watch out also for the crossing of the 13 day MA at $38.73.

ZION has broken its bullish trend and technical indicators are turning lower again suggesting another leg down.

The decline in YGE over the last few days looks like a bull flag is in progress. This is a potentially bullish pattern that requires confirmation with an upside breakout.

RTK has been in a range over the past month. The stock traded 2x normal daily volume in the last trading sessions, and is setting up to make a move through resistance. The $1.08 level has been a top for the stock since late May. If RTK can break through this resistance level, the stock should have a nice move on the upside.

VRX made a new 52 week on Wednesday, hitting $51.75, before closing the day at $51.01. I will watch the stock price today and buying above Wednesday’s high.

New 52-week High stocks

SWKS had a good run since the middle of May. It broke the resistance on 18 June and reached a high of 18.34 in yesterday's trading session. The stock is now pulling back on low volume to digest its gains and test support from its 10-day moving average at $16.87. Stochastic has made a bearish crossover and RSI is coming down from overbought levels. The MACD indicator is still above its signal line, indicating that the Bulls are still in control. If the stock is able to bounce off from $16.87 which is the 10-day moving average, there is a chance for the stock to test its recent high of $18.34.

PLUG closed up on high volume a sign that investors are buying into the stock. The technical chart is also showing bullish signs. The MACD indicator made a bullish crossover recently and RSI has more room to rise before it reaches overbought territory. +DI is also above –DI, it indicates a continuation of the up trend. Resistance is now at 0.684 followed by 0.75 (March 26 High).

The medium-term outlook for SOLR is bullish and a close above $6.19 will confirm this view. On the contrary, a close below $5.67 will have bearish implications and would push the stock to the 5.57-5.50 range. The MACD indicator is still above its signal line, indicating that the Bulls are still in control.

SIRI has been under pressure recently but in the last sessions the stock reversal its trend. The stock had a very bullish action in the last two weeks rebounding nearly 20 percent of the recent downward move. The stock closed in today's session at $1.08 with gains of 3.85%. Looking at the technical chart, the stock is currently in a short-term uptrend. It has resistance at $1.13 and then at $1.23. On the downside, it has strong support around $1.03 to $1 levels. If these levels are broken, then the trend would become down. Continue to watch SIRI because the stock should give us an opportunity for a trade soon.

SYNA traded higher today, after the stock received an analyst upgrade. $30.50 is resistance for the continuation move. This upside move in a weak market tells us there are buyers for SYNA. The technical daily chart shows the stock has just entered into a bull market as the stock is now on top of 50-day moving average and 200 day moving average. In addition , the 50-dma has crossed on top over 200-dma in April forming the Golden Cross, a very positive sign.

AA had a strong day as the stock closed up $.61 on heavy volume. Today’s high of $12.12 is now resistance for the continuation move that should occur very soon. I'm a buyer of AA once it breaks resistance, as I expect to see a strong upside move.

The stock has been in a range over the past six trading days. YGE looks like it wants to breakout of this range, but has not been able to gain the needed momentum. Today’s high of $10.87 is the top of this range, which makes it resistance for the breakout move. You should keep this stock on your screen radar.

WFC had a small pullback again today, but it held up reasonably well. I still like the chart and will watch the stock again on Monday. Resistance stays at $28.28 for the follow through move. Once it breaks this resistance level, we could see a quick increase in buying as momentum traders jump into this trade.

C has been trading in a very tight range the past few sessions and looks like it wants to break out. Resistance is $4.02 and I expect an increase in volume once the stock breaks through.

THQI has a strong support at $4.92. A close below this level could drag it further down to $4.64. Hold the stock with a stop-loss.

AAPL broke out today, closing at $271.87, up $4.62. I'm looking for a continuation move on Friday, and will buy the stock above today’s high of $272.90.

MOT had a great move on the upside today and closed at $7.19, up $0.08. The stock is setting up to break out and has one more level to go, which is $7.21. Watch the stock on Friday, because once it breaks through, it will run fast.

Today SMOD broke out of a small trading range and is setting up for a nice upside move. I'm looking to buy the stock above today’s high of $6.52 and we could see a jump in the stock as it breaks through. Watch the stock tomorrow for a possible big move.

JDSU looks like it wants to breakout of a consolidation range, as the stock closed slightly higher on Wednesday. I'm watching the stock today and I'm a buyer if it can break Wednesday’s high of $11.81. If the stock can break resistance, we should see an increase in volume to drive the stock higher. Watch the stock closely today.

LVLT looks to be breaking out, as the stock closed up $.08 on Wednesday. The stock looks to have bounced off lows earlier this month as it gains upside momentum. LVLT is a fast moving stock, so you need to watch it closely and be ready for this upside move.

PLUG is back on my list for today, as the stock traded up $.042 on Wednesday. I like the chart formation for this stock and expect to see a stronger breakout move. Resistance is now $0.487. Keep the stock on your radar for the next few trading days. If PLUG can break through resistance, we should see a strong upside move.
