Stocks to Watch for May 30, 2014

Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) There are some signs of a possible bounce at this point due to oversold indicators and some positive divergences, which often leads to short covering. Let’s see whether the stock can gather enough momentum to break through $3.56 (20EMA).

Shares of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) are starting to heat up again and are worth watching. If volume can pick up I believe this stock can break through resistance at $40.5 and re-test its recent highs around $41.37.

Shares of Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) have been slowly gaining some traction amid light buying pressure the last few days. A break through the $42.35 level could accelerate it higher.

Shares of Generex Biotechnology Corporation (OTC:GNBT) closed the day gaining more than five percentage points on solid volume. The stock has been on a down trend since it reached 52 weeks high of $.056 in January. Its technical chart show some bullish signals as KD is now going up and the MACD just crossed above the signal line. With this daily chart bull signal its very possible that we could see a continuation into tomorrow. The company announced last month that two abstracts in respect of results of the on-going Phase II study of a novel cancer vaccine designed to prevent relapse in patients who have had breast cancer will be presented at ASCO that will start tomorrow. The ASCO Meeting is the premier annual oncology symposium, bringing together more than 25,000 oncology professionals from a broad range of specialties. This penny stock should be on your radar tomorrow.

Stocks to Watch for March 04, 2014

EnteroMedics Inc (NASDAQ:ETRM) looks ripe for an explosive move upwards. The stock had a bullish momentum on Monday, gaining more than 3% and closing near the highs of the session. Volume is also starting to pick up again and there could be a decent short squeeze if it clears the January high. Clearing $2.66 could be the beginning of a move to new highs. As long as the stock stay above 2.30 area, the bullish scenario is still intact. Technical chart shows bullish sign with RSI bove its 50% level and MACD on top of signal line.

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) looks good over $10.9 with volume. The uptrend is intact and signals further bullishness on this stock.

Xerox Corp (NYSE:XRX) is slightly bullish here. Fresh long should be made only when the stock moves above $11.12.

Hercules Offshore, Inc. (NASDAQ:HERO) Looking at the technical chart above, there is a near term to midterm opportunity for shares to rebound to higher levels. Go long at any close above the $4.84 area. Shareholders may remain invested with a stop-loss at $4.56. The momentum indicators have turned up and the RSI is on the rise.

Changyou.Com Ltd (NASDAQ:CYOU) closed at $30.85 back once again above its 200-day exp moving average, which closed at $30.13. Lots of room to the upside if the stock can follow through on Tuesday’s move. Technical indicators are looking bullish.

We finally got the breakout in Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG). Shares rallied past resistance of $4.90 and hit my trigger to open positions. I'll be watching the stock on Tuesday, looking for a follow through move. As long as the stock stay above $5, the bullish scenario still intact. Technical chart shows very strong bullish sign.

FuelCell Energy Inc (NASDAQ:FCEL) broke out to all time highs. The volume on Monday’s break was great. The stock price is now seeing blue skies as there is no resistance overhead. The technical chart is showing tremenous strength with RSI rising and MACD above 0 but in extreme overbought territory. In addition, both 50 and 200 day EMAs are both rising showing the stock would be in bull market for a while. Only a close below $1.90 would warrant a change in sentiment.

Generex Biotechnology Corporation (OTCMKTS:GNBT) is strong and getting stronger every day it seems.This stock should see some heavy trading activity in the next sessions as investors interest continues to increase. The Volume has been ramping up over the last few days, suggesting larger participation. If it can close above $0.041, then expect more upside and the target is $0.056. If this happens, GNBT is a good play. The daily chart shows the stock is on a strong bull market as the stock is trading above 50-day and 200-day EMAs. Based on technicals, I think the stock should continue to go up.

Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (NYSE:YGE) continues to show strength as the rise in volume confirms the price uptick ! The stock hit a high of $5.38, which is now resistance for Wednesday’s continuation move. If the stock can break through resistance, we should see another strong upside move. YGE will move very quickly, so watch the stock closely on Wednesday.

Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) stock broke out above $45 on really good volume. All moving averages are below turning up for support. I like this for a swing trade.

InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC) stock has just started moving higher and established a short term up-trend. Momentum indicators are slightly bullish now with RSI inching away above the middle level. The strongest sign of a bullish momentum is the MACD indicator which is currently above the 0 line and DI+ crossed above DI-. Watching for $43.09 breakout. This momentum could push this stock much higher from here, so keep the stock on your radar for Wednesday’s trading day, as there is good upside potential in this move. If the stock breaks its 50-day MA at 43.09 the initial target is $45, followed by $49.23.

Pacific Ethanol Inc (NASDAQ:PEIX) is attempting to regain its 200-day moving average which has served as critical resistance and is likely to continue to do so. The near-term outlook will depend on the price movement in the next few days. A close above $1.33 will impart bullishness and will help the stock move to the 1.50 - 1.61 zone.

Bullish setups that you should watch next week

Ariad Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARIA) hit a new 52-week high on Friday, trading as high as $14.50, before settling at a close of $14.42. I'll be watching the stock on Tuesday, looking for a follow through move. As long as the stock stay above $13.50, the bullish scenario still intact. Technical chart shows very strong bullish sign. First of all, the stock is trading above both 50-day and 200-day moving average with both moving average pointing upwards. Then the MACD indicator is rising above zero also indicating a buy. In addition, KD line still show the stock is on the positive swing.

Dendreon Corporation (NASDAQ:DNDN) is strong and getting stronger every day it seems. If it can close above $14.66, then expect more upside. If this happens, DNDN is a good play. The daily chart shows the stock is in a short-term bull market as the stock is trading above 20-day and 50-day moving with both moving average pointing upwards. I think the stock should continue to go up.

Nuance Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN) is clearly in an impulsive wave upwards. If you are on board, there is nothing more to do but enjoy the ride. On the daily chart, the technical indicators show a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas. Long-term investors may hold with a stop at $26.97.

Stocks on Watch For Tomorrow

Good afternoon, Traders !

I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend ! Here are some setups to watch tomorrow !

What I like best about Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. (NYSE:KOG) is the relative performance it has exhibited in the last few weeks with respect to the overall markets. A bullish volume pattern has been formed in the last few weeks. On Friday, the stock made a breakout of its recent high with high volumes. Technical indicators are supporting the bulls. EMA's are moving up and RSI is also moving up and above its 50% level. Stochastic is also moving up and above its 50% level. Buy KOG around $9.23 with stop loss of $8.83 for the short term targets of $9.76 and $10. The stock looks bullish on charts. Keep a close eye on the stock for the follow through move on Tuesday.

Elan Corporation, plc (NYSE:ELN) continues to hold $12.60 but trade in a narrow range. Shareholders are probably getting frustrated because the stock doesn't move much higher from here, however the short term uptrend line still intact. As long as the stock trades above this support, investors can hold it with stop-loss at $12.55. ELN is a great company and I plan to buy the stock on a close over $13.14

From my point of view, there are solid and consistent buyers here. GNBT's chart suggest that increased buy side activity could push share prices to much higher levels. Generex Biotechnology Corporation (PINK:GNBT) could touch an upside target of $.22 in the medium term. Existing holders could remain invested. The bias is bullish in nearest term. A close above $.194 would impart bullishness and would help the stock move to the $.20-$.22 area. There is a lot of upside potential in GNBT, so keep watching for the breakout move.

Stocks Watchlist For Tuesday, Dec 20

Elan Corporation, plc (NYSE:ELN) is setting up for a very interesting upside move. The stock hit a high of $12.60 today, but was not able to above this level. I expect to see a high volume move once the stock breaks through resistance, as traders are watching this stock closely. From a technical standpoint, this stock is currently in an uptrend and is finding support from its 50-day MA at 11.10 . The OBV is showing a rising move, indicating a rising money flow into the stock. Keep the stock on your screen because once ELN breaks through resistance, the stock should take off and move quickly.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI) - From a short-term perspective, the stock remains trapped between support at its 50-day moving average and resistance at its 200-day moving average. A close above $1.88 would be bullish for the long term.

If you paid attention to Saturday's alert and got into GNBT at the opening bell, congratulations !!! My tip was great !!! Now that you are aware of Generex Biotechnology Corporation (NASDAQ:GNBT), I suggest that you keep it on your radar. The stock broke out today of its 200-day MA on heavy volume. If this chart does what is supposed to do, GNBT will be going higher in the days to come. Today's high of $.194 is resistance for the continuation move. At this stage, the stock is too extended for additional positions, and is in the overbought zone. I really like the chart but at this level I would wait for a pull back before putting any cash to work. Keep the stock on your radar.

I continue to watch Zalicus, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZLCS) because the volume is still large so it could potentially break out again at any moment. Other good news, the MACD is perking up and the OBV is moving up. The stock is being accumulated.

Gentiva Health Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTIV) appears to be holding the 20-day MA nicely. A break above $6.84 would be bullish.

Stocks on watch for next week

Novatel Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVTL) was one of the winners on Friday. The stock closed just below the high of the day which tells us there were buyers in the stock all day. This is a strong sign moving forward. The major technical indicators are looking better now for the stock. Looking at the technical chart the stock has just entered into a short-term bull market as the stock is on top of 13-day and 20-day moving averages. Other technical indicator such as MACD, is showing positive momentum while KD line also show buy signal as %K line is on top of %D line. Technically speaking the stock is now painting a short-term Bullish picture. Next resistance lies only at $3.33.

Sourcefire, Inc. (NASDAQ:FIRE) broke out on Friday and made a new 52-week high of $35.90. I'm keeping FIRE on the list for the continuation move. The stock had big buyers in it all day and looks ready to make another move on Monday. The technical chart shows a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas. Watch the stock closely next week and once it breaks $35.90, get ready to jump in and buy the stock.

Last week, Generex Biotechnology Corporation (NASDAQ:GNBT) had a huge rally of about 70% on heavy volume. The stock is displaying a strong upside momentum again. Nearest resistance for the stock is at $.16 ( 200-day MA ). If this level is crossed and the stock is able to sustain above this level, then it might go to $.22. On the downside, the stock has support at $.12. The stock is currently in a new uptrend. The technical daily chart is showing a strong bullish bias. On Balance Volume is increasing, indicating accumulation of shares in the market and KD line is indicating upward swing. Watch GNBT closely on Monday. I feel this stock will easily make a strong move to the upside on any positive news.

Oclaro, Inc. (NASDAQ:OCLR) had a slightly bullish day on Friday again but the price is struggling around the 20-day MA line resistance. Consistent move above $2.90 ( the trend line resistance ) could be a beginning of a new technical bullish reversal at least testing 3.3/3.40 area. Immediate support is at 2.78 followed by 2.68.

The outlook for Elan Corporation, plc (NYSE:ELN) is positive and a move to 12.07-12.20 appears likely. The positive outlook would be in force as long as the stock remains above the 50-day moving average. Remain invested with a stop-loss at $11.06. The technical daily chart show a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI trending upwards.

I've mentioned Zalicus, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZLCS) for the bulls out there. I stand by this position. It looks like it is starting to turn back up and indicators are giving the first bullish signs. I am looking to see this stock re-test its October highs shortly. The OBV is increasing and the stock price has regained its position above the 50-day MA. The nearest trend is in favour of Bulls and ZLCS has room to go higher. If the stock can break through $1.25, we should see strong volume drive the stock higher. You need to watch the stock closely because it could break resistance soon.

Hot Stock Movers to watch on Wednesday

Flotek Industries, Inc. (NYSE:FTK) broke out to a new all-time high today accompained by a strong volume suggesting higher levels. The stock has been on a remarkable run since November and it doesn’t looks like the trend will change soon. The technical chart still showing a bullish bias. KD line shows positive signs as %K line is rising on top over %D line and RSI continue moving up. The MACD has also formed an upside cross. I suspect the stock may continue to appreciate over the coming days.

Lorillard Inc. (NYSE:LO) - Technically, its major resistance was broken today with good volume. There is a chance the stock will consolidate tomorrow, but keep a close eye in case the stock makes it move. I'll buy the stock once it breaks through Tuesday’s high. At the present level, the stock is in overbought territory from a technical standpoint, however it does not mean the stock won't still go up, but a pull back is needed.

If the weakness continues and Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ:CIEN) breaks the support at $22.03, there will be a good chance that the stock will test the $20 support. However, as long as support holds a reversal is possible. Technically, there is nothing positive about the technical chart. All other indicators still point to a bear market.

When I first alerted everyone this morning on twitter about an unusual high volume on GNBT, I fully expected a solid run and an increase in share price, but what we got was much more than I could have even hoped for. Shares of Generex Biotechnology Corporation (OTC:GNBT) closed the day gaining more than two percentage points. The stock has been on a down trend since it reached 52 weeks high of $.5598 in September. Its technical chart show some bullish signals as KD is now going up and the stock breaks above the 20-day moving average. With this daily chart bull signal its very possible that we could see a continuation into tomorrow. But I urge you not to buy a significant portion of your trading capital, because this is a penny stock, so be careful with the position size.

Other stocks to watch :

Shares of Banner Corporation (NASDAQ:BANR) are starting to heat up again and are worth watching. If volume can pick up I think this stock can break through resistance at $2.56 and re-test its recent highs around $2.64.

Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTIC) were on fire Tuesday. The stock will have major resistance between $.49-$.512. A close over this level would be bullish and I'd look for CTIC to test the recent high of $.5548.

Shares of DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS) were on fire in pre market Tuesday but then traded flat during the day. I will buy the stock the next time it breaks $4.72.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.(Nasdaq:ACHN) - This stock is breaking out technically.

If OceanFreight Inc. (NASDAQ:OCNF) can break out above $.75 with heavy volume, I think the stock could shoot up to test $.96. There looks to be good upside potential, so watch the stock very closely on Wednesday.

Hot stocks for Thursday Sep 30

Starting with SOL, on the daily chart the present uptrend is getting confirmed as the days go on. The major trend is still bullish as we can see on the chart above. The bias is Bullish in nearest term. Immediate support remains at $11 followed by $10.28. I'm using today’s high of $12.29 as resistance for tomorrow. A break above that area could trigger further bullish momentum towards $13.

Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSIQ) was one of the big winners on Wednesday. The technical indicators are looking better now for the stock. CSIQ has broken the horizontal resistance line with heavy volume and looks like it will continue to run up. Looking at the daily technical chart the stock has just entered into a short-term bull market as the stock is on top of 20 day and 50 day moving averages. Other technical indicator such as MACD, is above 0 showing positive momentum while KD line also show buy signal as %K line is on top of %D line. Technically speaking the stock is now painting a “Bullish” picture. The share price is likely to move to the target zone of the 17-17.69 range.

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ:JASO) broke out on Wednesday and made a new 52-week high of $9.26. I'm keeping JASO on the list for the continuation move. The stock had big buyers in it all day and looks ready to make another move on Thursday. The technical chart shows a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas. Watch the stock closely tomorrow and once it breaks $9.26, get ready to jump in and buy the stock.

Lihua International, Inc. (NASDAQ:LIWA) - As long as the stock holds above the $8.35 support level the intermediate-term picture should remain positive. LIWA has made a transition from down trend to uptrend. The short-term trend is bullish and a move to the $9.11 appears likely.

The stock is displaying upside momentum again and is poised to move higher from these levels. Nearest resistance for the stock is at $.53. If this level is crossed and the stock is able to sustain above this level, then it might go to $.62. On the downside, the stock has support at $.48. The stock is currently in a new uptrend. I feel this stock will easily make a strong move to the upside.

Stock Market Alerts for Thursday Sep 23

Today's stock on the spotlight is THQ Inc. (Public, NASDAQ:THQI). The stock today surged nearly 9% or 34 cents to $4.14 per share after the video game maker was more upbeat than analysts expected at a Goldman Sachs investor's conference. The CEO Brian Farrell touted the company's up-coming game releases such as "Homefront" and "Red Faction: Armageddon" and said most of the company's development efforts will be focused on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for the next couple of years. Some top executives have been acquiring shares for the past few weeks showing the management is bullish of the company's outlook. Institution has also added shares indicating plus sign for the company. On the technical side, MACD and stochastics all point to upward trend while RSI is also rising but hasn't yet reached overbought level. The stock broke through its 50-day moving average and should continue to move. THQI has a lot of upside potential, so watch it closely on Thursday.

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (NASDAQ:BBBY) is trading up after hours, after releasing better then expected earnings. I believe the stock will gap up on Thursday and I'll be watching for a potential trade. BBBY has been trading near the major resistance and the good earnings should help break the stock to the upside. Stay tuned .....

Generex Biotechnology Corporation (NASDAQ:GNBT) has entered into a consolidation phase after rising very fast in the past few days. The bias remains bullish in nearest term. Immediate resistance remains at $.5598. Break above that level could trigger further bullish momentum towards $.60 area. Initial support remains at $.48 ( 200-day moving average ). I expect positive trend in the stock to continue with immediate target placed at $.60.

Other stocks to watch :

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTIC) - The stock continues to hold $.38 but trade in a narrow range.I plan to buy the stock on a close over the 50 day moving average ( currently located at $.39 )

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) - Another trading day, another 52 week high for AAPL. I like the stock as long as it can remain over $279.01.

Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOMX) had a pull-back today, but the rally might still have legs. I like the stock as long as it remains above $3.83.
