Hot stocks to watch next week
( click to enlarge )MOT recently cleared a base and has come back to retest the breakout area. You can see that the recent gains have come on relatively strong volume. Looking at the technical chart, it appears that a break above $7.39, the stock can easily touch $7.76. In addition the on balance volume has been on the upswing since February. MOT is defenitely worth a watch in 2010.
( click to enlarge )CCI seems to be forming a cup and handle formation. The break-out price is above 39.86. As long as the price stays above 38.37 I think this stock is still good. Watch out also for the crossing of the 13 day MA at $38.73.
( click to enlarge )C continued to move downward this week and no break-out from the ascending triangle happened. Even though the stock moved lower, it's somehow respecting the support line formed from May preventing it from moving downward any further. Looking at the technical chart, this stock seems to be forming a large ascending triangle with resistance at $4.02. A break above this level with large volume would confirm the formation. Possible target price for the ascending triangle formation is at around $4.50.
