Hansen Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ:HNSN) - Breakout watch over $4.95.

Alcoa Inc. (NYSE:AA) broke out to a new 52-week high today, accompained by a strong volume suggesting higher levels. The technical chart still showing a bullish bias. MACD shows positive signs and RSI continue moving up. I suspect the stock may continue to appreciate over the coming days.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals Int (NYSE:VRX) has been is on a remarkable run since December and it doesn’t looks like the trend will change soon. At this stage, the stock is in overbought territory from a technical standpoint, however it does not mean the stock won't still go up, but a pull back is needed.

Despite the general market's weakness, American Oriental Bioengineering, Inc. (NYSE:AOB) made an impressive turnaround and rallied almost 8% to close the day at $1.52. The next visible resistance is at $1.64-1.69 area. Today's spike could bring MACD Histogram above zero horizontal line, generally a bullish sign. In addition, KD line seems to be crossing up indicating bullish swing.

Hansen Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ:HNSN) showed buying strength all day on Tuesday. The volume dramatically increased as the stock ran to the old highs, showing me there are buyers watching the stock. From the technical daily chart above the stock shows very strong bullish sign. First of all, HNSN is trading above both 50-day and 200-day moving average. Then the MACD is rising above 0 also indicating a buy. In addition, %K line is on top over %D line showing the stock is on the positive swing.

CROX could go either way at this moment, it's dificullt to predict the next movement. The stock is just starting to turn higher off the 20 day moving average and it may be ready to breakout to new highs. The stock looks like it is in a well defined trading range and it is worth watching to see if it can break through the range soon. I still like this stock and expect to see an upside move very soon. Resistance stays at $11.40, which was the high on April 22th. Keep watching CROX on Tuesday.

HNSN bounced today and closed 9% higher. Looking at the technical chart, we can see that volume has remained strong with some strong buying spikes. The stochastics are stabilizing at current levels and look like they are turning positive. Resistance for Tuesday’s move is $2.53, which reflects Monday’s high of the day. I will watch HNSN closely tomorrow for this continuation move.

Moody's stock breaks down again today. There is no reason technical reasons to invest in this stock. The stock is still trading below the 50-day and 200 day moving average and MACD is below 0. Only a close above $22.53 would have positive implications in the near-term.

The stock skyrocketed Friday after the company released the following news: GFI Group Inc reported a slightly better-than-expected quarterly profit, as the inter-dealer broker earned more from its brokerage segment. Net profit for the first quarter was $13.4 million, or 11 cents a share, compared with net income of $11.6 million, or 10 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Excluding items, the company earned 12 cents a share for the fourth quarter. Analysts were expecting earnings of 11 cents a share, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. Total revenue for the quarter rose 2 percent to $220.8 million, mostly in-line analysts' view. Brokerage revenue, the largest contributor to total revenue, rose 3 percent to $204.1 million. Shares of the company closed at $6.90 Friday on Nasdaq, gaining more than 10%. The technical chart shows a bullish bias. GFIG broke out a short term consolidation pattern on huge volume of over 2.6 Million shares, indicating some bullish behavior and we could possibly see some continued upside movement. Target price for the pattern is at $7.92. MACD and KD show buy signal as MACD is above signal line and %K line is on top of %D line. In addition, GFIG is now above 50-day and 200-day moving average and if the upward trend can continue for another week and 50-day moving average can cross on top over 200-day moving average than the stock will be ready for a big rally.

It is been quite a good run for SIRI since December. This stock more than doubled in about 6 months from $0.5 in December to > $1 in April. It is presently in a short-term uptrend with support at 1.142. The resistance level is $1.22, which was Thursday's high of the day. If SIRI can break through with volume, we could see the stock run up to $1.28, which is another small resistance level. Keep watching SIRI and look for an increase in volume if the stock breaks out.

TRN - The technical daily chart shows a bearish cross has formed, pointing to a future downward correction in price. I am expecting a pull back to test the key level of $24.10

HNSN broke resistance on Friday, but was not able to make the expected move. The stock needs to break Friday’s high of $2.75 to expect a strong rally at this point.

Hansen Medical shares spiked today on news that use of the Sensei system in procedures for atrial fibrillation and other abnormal heart rhythms reduced patients' exposure to harmful cancer causing radiation by 63 percent, and provided stable, precise catheter control with equivalent safety to non-robotic procedures. The stock broke out a major resistance line and I expect another strong move tomorrow. Today’s high was $2.65, which is resistance for the follow through move on Friday. If the stock does break resistance,expect to see another strong upside move. Looking at the technical chart there looks to be more room in this move, so watch the stock closely over the next few days.

HANS has made an awesome move today breaking out of a small ascending triangle pattern with volume backed confirmation. The technical daily chart above shows the stock is in a bull market rally as MACD is on top of signal line and %K line is on top of %D line. In addition, the medium term trend is also bullish as the stock is above 50-day and 200-day moving averages with both moving averages going up.

As you can see from the technical chart above, HEB is holding the short term uptrend line as support. The stock has been making higher lows since last December and the volume has been also increasing substantially over the last months. I'll watch HEB very closely as this is a volatile stock and it will move very quickly once it breaks resistance at $0.83.

NBG finally rebounded on heavy volume: Is it the start of a reversal of the downtrend that has been going on since mid October 2009 ? I hope so.....Keep the stock on your trading screen for Thursday.
