Stock picks for Tuesday June 15
( click to enlarge )Today, LVS broke out to new 2010 highs, as the stock hit a high of $26.94 on the day. I'm watching the stock on Tuesday, as I expect to see a follow through move. I'm a buyer of LVS once it breaks through Monday’s high of the day. The stock will move quickly, so keep a close eye on it.
( click to enlarge )MCO hit resistance on Monday, but was not able to break through. This is usually a sign of bearishness for the continuing rebound. Looking at the chart, we can see that the trend is clearly downwards. The stock has formed a dead cross pattern early this month, a bearish indicator that signals further losses. At this stage, long positions must be avoided. This view will be negated only on a close above $20.29. Stay tuned on MCO.
( click to enlarge )PLUG looks to have found bottom here, as the stock closed above $0.40 on today's session. The high of the day was $.41, which is resistance for Tuesday’s move. If the stock can break through resistance, further upside may be possible, and would signal a change in trend from down to up. Although the moving average remains weak, as soon as there's any breakout above 20-day moving average we should see a lot more buyers coming. This stock can move very quickly, so keep it on your screen for Tuesday.
( click to enlarge )YGE tried to move higher today but it was not able to hold onto gains, and closed down $.04. I like this stock and expect to see a big move soon. I'm a buyer of YGE once it breaks Monday’s high of $10.80.
( click to enlarge )AIG showed good strength on Monday. The stock hit a high of $38.55, which is resistance for Tuesday’s move. I expect to see the buying again on Tuesday, so keep a close eye on AIG.
