( click to enlarge )Hansen Medical shares spiked today on news that use of the Sensei system in procedures for atrial fibrillation and other abnormal heart rhythms reduced patients' exposure to harmful cancer causing radiation by 63 percent, and provided stable, precise catheter control with equivalent safety to non-robotic procedures. The stock broke out a major resistance line and I expect another strong move tomorrow. Today’s high was $2.65, which is resistance for the follow through move on Friday. If the stock does break resistance,expect to see another strong upside move. Looking at the technical chart there looks to be more room in this move, so watch the stock closely over the next few days.

The technical daily chart above shows the stock is in a bull market rally as MACD is on top of signal line and %K line is on top of %D line. In addition, the medium term trend is also bullish as the stock is above 50-day and 200-day moving averages with both moving averages going up.
