Stocks to Watch for August 30, 2013

EPAM Systems Inc (NYSE:EPAM) had a nice pop out of a three week flag today and the volume soured to 4.8 million shares which is big volume for this stock. It closed up $1.88 to 32.17, or 6%. It went up to resistance but backed off before the close. Let's see if the stock gets a follow through on Friday.

Inteliquent Inc (NASDAQ:IQNT) Good long setup, if it takes out the 8.5-8.56 zone on volume.

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) From a technical standpoint, the stock has a fantastic long-term pattern but is starting to look exhausted at this point. Both the slow stochastic and the RSI are in their overbought zones, but both failed to reach new highs, printing a slightly negative divergence. A correction down to the 20-day EMA will not be a surprise for me.

Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) is in a bullish flag consolidation pattern. Next buy area is when it breaks 47.33 on heavy volume.

Quicksilver Resources Inc (NYSE:KWK) is basing just under the 200-day exponential moving average. Watch to buy on a break above this major resistance level.

Friday March 8th watchlist

FLIR Systems, Inc.(NASDAQ:FLIR) has been consolidating nicely since it rose from $18.5 to a high of almost $27. The technical chart shows possible new rally as %K line is back above %D line developing new uptrend and with stock back above 9-day moving average we should see more upside coming. The key resistance level to watch tomorrow is at $27.16. Watching for possible breakout there.

Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ:GEVO) broke out of its 50-day SMA today and surged considerably higher amidst impressive buying pressure, suggesting that it could be experiencing a medium-term technical trend reversal. The next major resistance level to watch is the 20-day moving average at 2.17 per share.

 Cavium Inc (NASDAQ:CAVM) has been pulling back after a sharp rally on heavy volume and I think that it will resume its climb. A good entry point will be around 36.5 to be safer or on a break of the flag.

 Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) is flagging right here, watch break of 3.75. Keep it on your watch list going forward.

 On daily chart, stock of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is still in a downtrend despite the pop in price on today's session. The resistance levels are now at 435.07 and then at 440.1. It is better to stay at the sideline. Only a close above $435 would trigger some positive sentiment. Long positions may be considered on a daily close above this level, with a stop-loss at $419

 OSK shares have been consolidating a pretty tight range. Volume is starting to build and it may make an attempt at breaking out. Any move over 40 will probably lead to new highs. Let's keep an eye on it.

Trade Ideas for Wednesday December 08

Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ:SOLF) - The violent reversal from its 200-day moving average leads the way to a retest of $8.27 support. If the stock can hold above this area we could assist to a rebound for a retest of today's highs and a possible breakout to the upside.

LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE:LDK), retested the 50-day mving average and failed to close over that level. We should see a potential upside if the stock manages to close over the 50-day mving average. Support continues to be located at $10.74 and any close below that level could signal further declines.

GT Solar International, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOLR) has had a nice run over the past days. At this stage, we can see that SOLR is now testing its line resistance at $8.27. A break of this resistance level could see the stock testing its next horizontal resistance line located at $8.78. Technical indicators are bullish as MACD momentum and histograms trend higher and RSI is above 50 level.

Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK)  had a huge breakout day on Tuesday and closed above its 200-day moving average. The breakout was on heavy volume. The next key resistance levels are located at $34.94 and $36.14. There looks to be good upside potential, so watch the stock very closely on Wednesday. Shareholders may remain invested with a stop- loss at $33.28.
