THQI broke the horizontal resistance line on strong volume and could eventually rally up to test the October highs. Looking at the technical daily chart the near-term outlook is very positive and a move to the 6.95-7.05 range appears likely. In addition KD also indicate positive momentum.

OSIR suffered 3 straight selling days this week with the stock breaking the support at 8.19. Today the stock was up, as well as the Nasdaq. The stock is a candidate for range trading. Price level at 7.50 is now a good support level and may expect a bounce from this current level. Stochastics and RSI are both in the oversold area. Entry at 7.50, sell at 7.94, cutloss at 7.26.

CIEN broke out of a downtrend channel on Tuesday. The stock closed below highs, but could make another move today. Tuesday’s high reflects resistance for this next upside move. If CIEN can break through resistance, we should see a strong upside move as traders buy up the stock. Technically the stock looks solid trading above its 20 and 50 day moving averages. My model is long, targeting 14.06 area.

OSIR has been sitting around the $7.40 level for the past week and looks like it wants to break out of this range. The volume has been slowly picking up the last few trading sessions, which is another sign of a buyer in the stock. I am a buyer of OSIR once it breaks through the high of $7.54 on the breakout move. This stock can move very fast, so watch it closely and do not miss out when it breaks through. By a technical perspective, stock still trading in a short-term Bullish momentum, with share price above its 20 and 50 dma. Another technical indicator that jumps out at me on OSIR is the short interest percentage. The short interest has decreased about 7.5% in the last month without a substantial rally. This bodes well for OSIR’s direction in the case of a good rally.

STEM - Breakout point is 1.50. MACD is currently bullish and RSI is just halfway from being overbought. Sideways consolidation is actually good for the stock at this point as a breather from the recent upward move. Watch STEM closely so you don’t miss out once it breaks through.

DRYS looks strong enough to move forward. The recent increase in trading volume and rising OBV suggests buyers are accumulating stock. A breakout above $6.17 would constitute a technical entry for the short term trader looking for a quick trade.

PLUG pulled back on Wednesday, but the volume was on the light side and could be a one-day event. I like how this stock broke out of a sideways channel on heavy volume in yesterday's session, which is why I will watch it again on Thursday. Resistance stays at $0.78, which was Today’s high of the day. Use your stops if the stock does not hold up.

MPEL looks to have found support at these levels and could make an upside move soon. I'm watching the stock on Tuesday and I'm buyer if the stock can break through Monday’s high of $3.49. If the stock does break resistance, we should see a good short-term bounce.

OSIR hit resistance again on Monday, but did not break through. This stock is setting up for a nice upside move and I'm going to be there when it occurs. Technically, my model remains long in short-term targeting $8. The Relative Strength Index is moving higher, which is a sign of growing strength in the stock. Also the MACD is giving a positive indication. Keep a very close eye on the stock as it will move quickly once it breaks through resistance.
