Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) broke down today below its rising 50-day exponential moving average, accompanied by strong volume. With the short-term trend reversing, I see the next key level of support at $52.9. The technical chart shows a bearish tone for stock with MACD and RSI showing weak signal as MACD is below its signal line and RSI dropping below 50% level.

Bearish technical outlook resulting from the breakdown of the 50-day exponential moving average at 21.3. The stock outlook has deteriorated significantly over the past week. Charles Schwab Corp (NYSE:SCHW) shares are likely to drift lower to test its immediate support at 20. If that support failed, it will test the next support at 19.47

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) broke down on volume higher than Monday's level. Look for this to test the 200-day exponential moving average.

Potential bullish setups to watch next week

Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) ended the day 6.51% higher at $5.89 on above average volume of 1.29 million after touching an intra-day high of $5.90. It broke through the $5.82 resistance and looks poised to make new highs this year. From the technical chart, the MACD and RSI both signal positive strength. The accumulation/distribution line also confirms buying pressure. The stock is trading above both 50-day and 200-day SMA and 50-day SMA is on top of 200-day SMA heading upwards. In my view, we could see $6.2- $6.27 in the next trading sessions.

3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) The stock made a turnaround by the $30 support area, which contains the 200-day SMA, so I expect to see a new surge towards the 20-day SMA with a daily close above to confirm a possible new uptrend. Stop 29.86

Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) Keep on watch, if it breaks 3.63, should make a good long imho. The stock is still trading above both 50-day and 200-day moving average showing strength.

Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) had a nice follow through day after breaking this "long falling wedge", next buy area when it clears the 50-day SMA on volume, needs a consolidation / pullback here.

5 Hot stocks to watch next week

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) continued its upward surge from Thursday.

A quick look at the daily chart of JPM shows us that:

- The stock price has been making higher lows since last December.
- The volume of transactions has been increasing substantially over the last 2 months.
- Trendline is rising
- The 50 daily moving average is turning up for the first time since March-April 2010
- The price has crossed the 10 day moving average to the upside again with an increase in volume.

- My expectation is for JPM to rise back up to 47.18-48$ and then break out above 48.02$.

- This scenario would be cancelled if the price falls below 43$.

There is a resistance level that needs to be crossed to give rise to the next leg up. The buy trigger is at $45.94. If we can cross this level next week, the stock should continue its move up. Stay tuned !!

Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) broke out today on higher volume ( 3x normal daily volume ) above a major resistance point. Buy trigger is clear. It appears to be moving up toward its old highs in the 31-32 range.

Popular, Inc. (NASDAQ:BPOP) closed back the 10 day moving average located at $3.21, ending the day at $3.22. The next major resistance level is located at $3.30. I would be a buyer on any weakness.

KB Home (NYSE:KBH) is looking bullish and may breakout of this falling wedge/pennant. The stock should find support here at the lower band and 20 sma.

Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) continues to hold the 50 and 200 day moving averages which is very bullish. I expect the stock to test the $22 level soon. A close over this level would be bullish and I'd expect the stock to run to $25. Support is located at $20.34 as well as $20. If the stock closes below $20 at any time, all bets are off. Over the past month, RMBS saw its short interest decrease by five percent to 5,638,200 from 5,926,100. The new bullish trend on my technical chart looks good. My model is long targeting $25. Key resistance is now located at $22, a break above this level will confirm the bullish trend and the following uptrend will take price up to 25 zone. Rambus is the frequent subject of patent infringement and anti-trust claim issues. Hynix Semiconductor, Nvidia, Micron Tech have had patent infringement suits with Rambus, so please be aware that the share price depends in part of the news that comes to the market, causing generally large fluctuations in the share, so be careful if you’re not familiar with the stock.

Hot Stock Movers to watch next week

Nice day for Affymax, Inc. (NASDAQ:AFFY) everyone !! So, I first alerted on this one, yesterday night and this morning on Twitter I said the stock was on my watch radar. Today it hit a high of $8.50 for a possible gain on 20% and ended the day at $7.99 so readers who bought in on my initial alert are still up 15% !! This was an amazing run for those who jumped in at that time. Hope everyone is having fun and making some money. Now the momentum on AFFY is building up again and another run is on the horizon. New fresh exposures on AFFY should be made only when the stock move above $8.50.

Another stock mentioned earlier this week on AC Investor Blog was KB Home (NYSE:KBH) as a possible breakout candidate, and the stock did what it was supposed to do. The stock broke out of a consolidation yesterday and followed through nicely today with another $.92 gain, or 6.24%. The technical chart shows the stock is in a rally as %K line is rising on top of %D. Moreover MACD shows the stock is still in bull market as MACD and signal line are above 0. Initial resistance is at $15.54. Break above that area could trigger further bullish momentum towards $16.

DemandTec, Inc. (NASDAQ:DMAN) broke out and never stopped all day. There is a good chance the stock will continue to move up. If the stock can break through $12.51, we should see it move up to $13. Looking at the technical daily chart the investor sentiment in stock showed by RSI continues strong and MACD still going up. Technically speaking, the stock is painting a Bullish picture.

Popular, Inc. (NASDAQ:BPOP) - We can see that the recent increase in trading volume and rising OBV suggests buyers are accumulating stock. Traders are hoping for a breakout above $3.25 to signal that the bull market in stock is back. This morning, Goldman Sachs initiated coverage on shares with a "BUY" rating.

Other stocks to watch :

Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTIC) were on fire Friday. The stock will have major resistance between $0.42-0.425. Cell Therapeutics failed to close over the 200 day moving average now located at $0.425. A close over this level would be bullish and I'd look for CTIC to test the recent high of $0.493. I plan to buy the stock on a close over the 200 day moving average.

DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS) had a great day but gave back a lot of it's gains all day. I will buy the stock the next time it breaks $5.51.

I continue to watch American International Group, Inc. (NYSE:AIG), because the volume is still large so it could potentially break out again at any moment.

Stocks to Watch for the 15th of December

There many ways to see if the stock is worth buying and one of them is to see if the insiders are buying the stock. Because, this means either the executives are optimistic about the company or they are commited to make the company even better. One stock which fits into this category is Universal Travel Group (NYSE:UTA). On Thursday, December 9, the company announced that Xie Jing, CFO of Universal Travel Group Common bought 39,850 shares and the reaction in the market was immediately. Generally, if management teams have been purchasing shares, the stock should do well. From a technical standpoint, the technical chart is still showing a bull market signal as MACD is still above signal line and %K line is still on top of %D line, both indicating buy signal. In addition, the moving averages are showing bullish sign in short-term as both 20-day and 50-day moving averages are heading up. Considering all these factors, I tent to ignore the recent pull-back and I keep my bullish stand going forward. UTA is also a prime candidate for a short squeeze. There is a very high short interest in this stock. Short-term investors can buy with a stop at $6 and long-term investors can hold with a stop at $5.72. Stay tuned.

The widespread rally in stocks this morning was enough to push Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:ENER) through resistance at $5.14. Volume was good. From a technical perspective, ENER is now in a short-term bull market with share price above 13, 20 and 50 daily moving averages. Let's see if tomorrow the stock will confirm the breakout and continue uptrend to $5.80.

Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR) pulled back today but this pull back should not go lower than the resistance levels that were taken out. If you are feeling cautious at this point, then consider waiting for a new rally over $36.85 before initiating positions.

Popular, Inc. (NASDAQ:BPOP) moved lower again today and this is still good for the stock at this point as some rest is needed in order to move higher. A little more consolidation here would be best before we move higher.
