Stock Market Alerts for Friday April 16
( click to enlarge )YGE showed buying strength all day on Thursday. The stock is on the verge of breaking out and it could happen Friday or Monday. The volume dramatically increased as the stock ran to the old highs, showing me there are buyers watching the stock. Once the stock breaks $13.65, jump in and watch YGE take off. From the technical daily chart above the stock shows very strong bullish sign. First of all YGE is trading above both 50-day and 200-day moving average. Then the MACD is rising above 0 also indicating a buy. In addition, %K line is on top over %D line showing the stock is on the positive swing.
( click to enlarge )The stock is trying to break out of its March trading range as buyers come into the stock. LVLT has plenty of room to run, and once it breaks Tuesday’s high of $1.77, get ready to buy the stock.
( click to enlarge )CTDC broke out of a 4 month base and traded with significant increased volume today. The stock broke through highs of $3,29, set on December 15th, before pulling back the last few hours of the day. This is a big breakout for CTDC, and if the buyers come back into the stock, we could see it break through $3,50 and take off. From the technical daily chart above MACD and KD both signal positive strength. CTDC is now above 50-day and 200-day moving average and if the upward trend can continue for another week and 50-day moving average can cross on top over 200-day moving average than the stock will be ready for a big rally.
Other stocks to watch :
CTIC - Cell Therapeutics continues to trade around $0.65 per share. As long as the stock is trading above $0.50, I love the stock. If the stock closes above $0.7, you could see a big turnaround in CTIC.
DRYS - DryShips remains high on my radar due to the recent run up on heavy volume. I plan to buy the stock on a break above $6.82 and add more on a break above $7.
NVLT - Shares of Novelos Therapeutics Shares continue to hold $0.23 and appear to be forming a bottom right now. A break below $0.2 would be very bearish but a break above $0.28 would be bullish and I plan to buy.
ROYL - Shares of Royale Energy Inc. continue to show some nice strength for a small cap. Keep an eye on resistance located at $2.60 as well as $2.67.
SOMX - Shares of Somaxon Pharmaceuticals continues to tank after it could not hold $8 weeks ago.
