THQ Inc. - Shares rose to all time highs

THQI stock has broken out to all time highs. Shares rose more than 3% to 32.29$ today after THQ Inc. announced that the company's Valusoft division has signed an agreement with Microsoft Game Studios. The technical chart looks Bullish with both 50 dma 200 dma going up and MACD on top of 0.

JDS Uniphase Corporation " Resistance becomes support " , LVLT jump

JDSU stock broke out a few days ago $18 resistance level, and has retraced to the support today with sucess. Could be a bullish stock if resistance becomes support, so keep this baby in your watch list for a possible rally from here "Resistance becomes support ".

Shares of LVLT rose more than 2.5% today probably because some commentaries of Jim Cramer during last night's CNBC Mad Money show "Lightning Round ".
Jim Cramer said " Stock is going down, lots of people panicking. ... LVLT is the single best play on the shortage of bandwidth. I still think this stock could double in a couple of years. Why back away? Why not back up the truck?"

Medifast Inc. ( MED ) shares jump again


Shares of MED rose more 5% today after having broken out on Friday an important resistance. This movement was follwed by a big volume. The technical chart shows the stock is in a rally with MACD rising and stock breaking above 200 dma. Keep an eye on this stock.

AMD - had a great performance today after a Sell-off in the indices, ended the session with a small gain to 21.83$, however the stock broke during the session the $22 resistance area.

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Ascending triangle


AMD stock is setting up for a possible breakout above $22 resistance area. The chart is showing an ascending triangle setup ready to breakout of a consolidation base. The Ascending Triangle is a bullish pattern, the formation occurs as sellers dump shares at resistance, then after the stock declines buyers come in attempting to pick up a bargain, which makes shares rise again, so keep AMD on your watchlists.

Sirius Satellite Radio surged 8% today !!!!!





Shares of SIRI rose more than 8% today and closed near the top of the channel at 4.29$, is setting up for a possible breakout above 4.30$ resistance, and if break it the stock could push till 5$. The technical chart show several positive divergences of MACD that have been printed since last May, today volume was huge, so I think the stock has now conditions to break this channel and go forward. Bullsih Signal : 20 dma line already it crossed 50 dma

Google hit $500 today !!!!!

Shares of Google rose nearly 3% today closing at $509.65. The stock price reached $500 for the first time, a little more than two years after the company priced its initial public offering at $85 in August 2004. In only two years this company multiplied for five it market value , its market capitalization has grown from about $30 billion to more than $150 billion. Are you surprise with this price ? oh... I'm not !!! We'll see this stock jump again !!!

ADC Telecommunications - Stock in play today

Shares of JDSU rose more than 5% today and breakout an important resistance area with a stong volume. The stock opened way to go until 20$. RAMBUS shares spiked 30% WOW !!!

RAMBUS " RMBS " shares soared more than 30% to 21.72$ , on speculation that the company could emerge from a lawsuit filed by the FTC, the volume was Huge !!! The technical chart indicates that the stock is now very Bullish after broken the channel mentioned above. The stock should keep going up and perhaps it will reach 200 dma line very soon. Indicators are all Bullish MACD + RSI. I'm still Long in the stock.

JDSU shares lost some momentum today due to some profit taking and consolidation fase.

Shares of JDSU rose more than 6% today without any reported news but with a great volume. The stock closed above 20 and 50 dma, next resistances 18$ and 22$. Guys the DOG woke up again !!! MACD + RSI Indicators are Bullish. Like many friends and some visitors knows this stock is my top pick for 2007.

Stock in play today : GTW

Shares of Gateway ended the session with a gain of 7% with nearly a double average volume.
I think it started a new uptrend that could suggest a run to 2$ area, another important point was the stock to have closed above 20 dma and 50 dma, it broken an important resistance area 1.80$.

Cisco Earnings, Bullish Feeling in overall US Indices

A new record high close for DOW at 12,176.54 and a new 2006 high for Nasdaq closing at 2,393.47.
I still believe that this rally will continue. We start to see some movement in the semi-condutors Index, with MACD back above 0 , I expect a breakout cenario very soon. Cisco could be the tone for another rally after posts higher quarterly profit.

AMD - It's gaining momentum

Shares of AMD closed slightly higher today following the good momentum of the markets, also the news related with Dell and Gateway helped this movement, however this stock is now indicating some interesting points in the overall indicators. The stock has chance to be back to rally with MACD fast line rising again on top over slow line.

Today, PMCS broke out of an ascending triangle stock chart pattern on strong volume. I will be keeping this stock on my watchlist tomorrow and next week for swing trade opportunities, the chart is overall Bullish, MACD above 0 and RSI in a Bullish area.

JDS Uniphase is on FIRE !!!!

Shares of JSUD "D" surged nearly 16% today to 16.58$ per share after reporting good earnings and helped by an upgrade from Needham & Co. " John Harmon " - to "Strong Buy" from "Buy", noting factors such as JDSU's improving earnings. The technical chart shows a Big run followed by an anormal volume ( 4 x average volume ) that confirms the start of the rebound. The MACD is now on top of 0 and the fast line crossover slow line, RSI reached now the Bullish area. The stock have closed today above the major resistance $16 and it's above 20 dma now, the stock came back toward the previous channel.

Keep in your wacth list these stocks : RAMBUS, GTW , ERTS , NOVL , THQI for a potential movements.

JDSU - Earnings report " JDSUD "

Shares of JDSUD rose more than 3% in after hours trading after the fiber-optic networker reported a narrower net loss in its first quarter and the company's first profit excluding onetime items in more than five years. JDS Uniphase said its net loss declined to $17.4 million, or 8 cents a share, from a loss of $67 million, or 34 cents a share, a year ago and sales rose 23% to $318 million. Excluding onetime items, the company said it would have earned $6.8 million, or 3 cents a share, compared with a loss of $15.4 million, or 8 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Outlook : JDSU expects net revenue of $332 to $352 million.
Following the good performance in after-hours the stock has now legs to start a rebound after have disappointed in the last two weeks.

Bulls supporting RMBS ?

Shares of RMBS down more than 2% today following the fall in the semicondutor index, however the stock still trading inside the channel but now nearly the bottom. In the daily chart we can see that the stock is under Oversold conditions, so a potential up movement at theses levels is possible. I think the Bulls are supporting the stock in this area to avoid a breakdown, also the chart show a weak volume in falling days.
