Hot stocks to watch next week

A123 Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:AONE) had a significant bullish momentum last week but the price is now struggling around the trend line resistance indicates critical technical point. Consistent move above $9.65 ( the trend line resistance ) could be a beginning of a new technical bullish reversal at least testing 11.38/11.50 area. Immediate support is at 8.92 followed by 8.68. Honestly, I prefer a bullish scenario.

Novell, Inc. (NASDAQ:NOVL) had a significant bullish momentum last week after break above 5.84 and now struggling around 6.20. Looking at the technical chart above the bias is bullish in nearest term especially if price is able to stay consistently above 5.94 targeting 6.36. Unless we have another movement back below this level, I think NOVL still in a bullish correction phase.

Shares of Generex Biotechnology Corporation (NASDAQ:GNBT) soared 14.33% to 46 cents per share on heavy volume. The technical chart shows the stock is ready for new rally as %K line is now on top of %D line. In addition, momentum indicators are also signalling good trend with rising OBV and bullish MACD crossover happened on Friday. GNBT is displaying upside momentum and is poised to move higher from these levels. Nearest resistance for the stock is at $.491. If this level is crossed and the stock is able to sustain above this level, then it might go to $.60. The stock is currently in a new uptrend.

Stock Picks and Trade Ideas for Thursday - AKS, NOVL, MSFT

Chart courtesy of www.stockcharts.com ( click to enlarge )

AKS - After a sharp upward move over the past six sessions, the stock failed to break through its major resistance of 12.50, and may be close to reversing course here in the short term. The outlook remains bullish and the stock appears on course to move to the target zone of the 14-15 range. At this moment contemplate fresh long positions only on a close above 12.5, with a stop-loss at 9.70.

Chart courtesy of www.stockcharts.com ( click to enlarge )

NOVL - The stock failed to close above the resistance level of 4.25. A decline to the 3.85-3.9 range appears likely. Long-term investors can hold Novel with a stop at 3.75.

MSFT - The stock failed to close above the resistance level of 21.25. This resulted in a sharp drop on Wednesday. The recent price patterns suggest that the downward move witnessed on Wednesday could continue to the major support at $19. The short-term indicators also give a bearish view for the week. All short-term indicators are now in downward path.

Stock Picks and Trade Ideas for Friday - NOVL, RFMD, ESLR

Chart courtesy of www.stockcharts.com ( click to enlarge )

ESLR made a strong upside reversal today. The technical chart above suggests that stock might find now resistance at $2.98. Only a close above this level would suggest further upside. Remain invested with a stop loss at $2.50.

Chart courtesy of www.stockcharts.com ( click to enlarge )

RFMD - Technical chart shows bullish sign with K line on top of D line and MACD on top of signal line. A decisive break of the 20-day moving average at $1.49 on heavy volume, and, we could be looking at RFMD testing its resistance level at $1.50 and $1.75 respectively.

Chart courtesy of www.stockcharts.com ( click to enlarge )

NOVL - Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $2.49 to a high of $7.59. Technicals have turned bullish signaling sideways to higher prices possible in the near term. Next targets for the stock are $4.61 ( 50 DMA ) and $4.86. Only a close above $4.86 reverses the current downtrend. Let's keep an eye on it.

Stock Picks and Trade Ideas for Wednesday - NOVL, EZPW, BOOM

Hello Folks !!! Early in the morning I read something that make fell really concerned. One of the best European managers of global operations, Alexander Kapfer, believes that the veto of the plan to rescue the U.S. economy in the amount of 700 billion dollars "is a disaster." For the manager, the engine of world markets is getting "out of fuel." Alexander Kapfer is recognized as “star manager” of the German boutique Atkien and responsible for one of the best European equity funds worldwide, the FIVV AKTIEN IU Global Select Fund. Alexander Kapfer summarized in a nutshell the decision of the House of Representatives: "It's a disaster," says the magazine Citiwyre. This guy believes that politicians have not realized the gravity of the situation of the financial system. And use of the image: "We are like an engine that now, is running out of fuel and will break down at any time. The only thing the Fed can do now is establish that a further deposit will be added. The manager also fears that Europe will be more affected than the United States itself, since the European politicians have lost the opportunity to carry out the necessary reforms during the good and now with the economy on the brink of a recession, says is unlikely to be willing to invest. Please see below some trade Ideas for tomorrow.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

BOOM moves in a downward channel targeting the support at $22.12. The middle line of the channel acts as a strong resistance around $24.73. The stock is still in bear market as MACD and signal line are both below 0.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

EZPW - The stock is now set up nicely in a base for a potential breakout, so keep an eye for a possible breakout over $19.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

NOVL - The stock reversed strongly to move to my short-term resistance at $5.20. Although this trend is encouraging, the near-term outlook stays cautious till the stock closes conclusively above $5.20 on heavy volume.

Stock Picks and Trade Ideas for Friday - GS, NOVL,RNWK, NTRI, NVDA

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

NVDA - Nvidia gave us a small move on Wednesday, which could be the start of a bigger move. If the stock can break through Wednesday’s high of $20.66, we should see a strong follow through move. This move would break the trading range, and should drive the stock back towards highs. Although the stock didn't perform well since the start of the year, we should see a rebound very soon as the technical chart now shows positive momentum is back as MACD is above 0 and K line is on top of D line. In addition 20 day moving average and 50 day moving average seems both are stabilizing which is a very positive sign.Keep watching NVDA for a bigger move soon.

Mowrey and Buckingham have a 12- to 24-month price goal of $47 for Nvidia. Click here to know more.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

NTRI - $19.18, down 9%. Range was $20.23 to $18.92. This stock cooled down today, after the earnings report. I had not expected this action, as I thought it would continue higher today. At least today’s drop was on low volume for a usual earnings day. The chart is now a little mixed, but I'm still convicend is too early to start selling. The K is just below the D line, so technically we had the bearish crossover today, but it could be just a small violation.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

RNWK is technically in uptrend. But looking at the chart above is hard to intepret the next possible move. Furthermore, it is moving really slow. Entry point would be on the day it blows through $6.30 on heavy volume.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

NOVL - The stock continues to have great support at $6.28 on its 20-day moving average. Today, the stock closed above its 50 day EMA ($6.39) again. I would look for a move up to $6.58 resistance tomorrow. If it passes that, there is very strong resistance at $6.86 coming up next.

Chart courtesy of stockcharts ( click to enlarge )

GS - Stock broke through resistance at $181.75 accompanied with high volume. We should be able to see some decent upside movement for the bulls here. This stock should run to at least $196.50 ( 200-day moving average ).
