Trading set-ups to watch next week

Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) is getting ever so close to breaking out higher. This stock is starting to gain interest and could see a rapid ascent as the accumulation by institutions continue. Technically, the hourly chart shows a bull flag formation with the stock price on the verge of a breakout.

Vaxart Inc (NASDAQ: VXRT) could be at the beginning stages of another big rally. One that could ultimately take this stock back over $5.4 and beyond. Hourly technical indicators are beginning to turn bullish. The MACD is rising above its signal line and the RSI has moved above its 50% level. A move above $3.92 (Friday's high) opens the door to $4.6. I'm Bullish at this point.

I have Seven Stars Cloud Group Inc (NASDAQ: SSC) on my watchlist. It may be ready to break out of this base. There are some signs that the stock is gaining some momentum in recent days. It is well oversold and a bull move is probable for the coming sessions. The technical daily chart shows some bullish divergences on MACD and RSI. Keep an eye on SSC and be prepared for this upcoming move.

Auris Medical Holding AG (NASDAQ: EARS) what a rally for this stock late in the day on Friday. You have to believe that this rally will resume in earnest at the open tomorrow.

GTx, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTXI) could we be looking at the next EARS type run? After being trading in a bearish tone for some time the stock appears to making a comeback in favor of the bulls. It has already started its bounce back up and looks poised to break resistance at $1.85. d I think the stock could see $2.1 or better in short-term.

CorMedix Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: CRMD) has been one of the most impressive stocks over the last two weeks. From a short-term view, stock remains very overbought, but in my honest opinion and based on the volume, this appears to be a good overbought condition. As a result, any dip should be bought.

Canopy Growth Corp (NYSE: CGC) looks strong enough to move forward. The stock closed nicely above the major short-term EMA levels with solid volume. At this level, we should see the stock retest the next pivot point located at $50.99 followed by $55. The support level is adjusted to $47.5

Could Turtle Beach Corp (NASDAQ: HEAR) be on the verge of a breakout? The buy trigger is above Friday's high of 21.15. All major indicators are displaying bullish signals.

My Watchlist for Thursday, June 15

GTx, Inc.(NASDAQ:GTXI) has pulled back on low volume after a big run-up on Monday, a healthy sign suggesting that it will resume the uptrend. Plus, the stock closed slightly above the back test of the broken downtrend line on its daily chart, supporting a new leg higher. The accumulation volume is also great. I bought few shares before the close.

pSivida Corp. (NASDAQ:PSDV) price bounced strongly after reaching and back testing the key support area at $1.63. Oversold, looking for a bounce to $2's.

MGT Capital Investments Inc. (OTCMKTS:MGTI) is still consolidating and may still have a chance to move higher here. If the stock moves above 1.18 it could rise till 1.36-1.42. Technical indicators are in bullish zones.

Ekso Bionics Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:EKSO) broke through resistance at $1.50 with huge volume, creating a significant amount of bullish potential. On the technical side, MACD and RSI all point to upward trend. EKSO has a lot of upside potential, so watch it closely on Thursday.

Possible bottom play here. The area comprehended between $10.4 and $10.55 represents a heavy resistance for shares of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc (NYSE:HTZ). A close above this area would have positive implications and could drive the stock much higher. Keep the stock on your radar.

Aptose Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:APTO finally broke the downtrend line on daily and is now on its move upwards, supported by new momentum on the MACD. Plus, the AD indicator continues to rise, indicating continuing strong accumulation. I see the next resistance in the 1.32 area. A move above this area would be viewed very bullish and could cause a nice short squeeze targeting the 1.79 area.

Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG) is one of my favorite long term plays and the technicals are setting up in favor of the bulls. The MACD has turned up too signaling a buy and A/D continues to rise. Worth watching long above 2.19

ContraVir Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:CTRV) is a stock that could head higher from Monday's close. It's in the process of bottoming and I expect a pop above $.67 at some point in the coming days. Accumulation line remains at highs.

Stocks to Watch for January 17, 2014

WidePoint Corporation (NYSEMKT:WYY) closed strong on Thursday, as the stock ended the day at highs. The technical daily chart shows a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas. This stock is on the top of my watch list due to the recent price action, volume and momentum.

Biotech stocks continue to move higher and GTx, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTXI) is getting ready to retest September highs. The stock hit $2.36 on September 20th 2013, which is resistance for its next move. The daily chart of GTXI suggests a strong confidence in stock, a clear uptrend momentum. The accumulation/distrubition indicator is also tredning higher. Long setup. Stop 1.72

The stock price of Baxano Surgical Inc (NASDAQ:BAXS) looks strong enough to move forward. The recent increase in trading volume and the rising OBV suggests buyers are accumulating the stock. A breakout above $1.35 would constitute a technical entry point for the short-term trader, looking for a quick trade.

Ariad Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARIA) The chart is showing a slightly bullish bias. Let’s see whether the stock price can gather enough momentum to break through 6.97. If the Bulls are able to push through this level, there will be another rally towards 7.75.

Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI) The stock broke resistance on Thursday, which should be the start of another upside move. Resistance is $18.19, which reflects Thursday’s high of the day.

Tuesday's Stocks to Watch and Trading Ideas

Downward bias in Valeant Pharmaceuticals Int (NYSE:VRX). The stock broke support of $51.15 today on above average volume. Short term momentum indicators, like MACD, RSI and Stochastics are also in Bearish areas. A decline to its 50-day moving average currently at $46.13 appears likely.

After trading GTx, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTXI) not to long ago on its breakout i re-entered this today as it broke above $4.28 resistance on the intraday chart which was a breakout of its bull flag on the daily chart. I like that the stock finished strong and expect to see a continuation move. The technical chart looks Bullish with both 20, 50 and 200 daily moving averages going up and MACD on top of 0, RSI in a Bullish area too. Keep the stock on your screen throughout the day on Tuesday.

Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) broke down its support today on increased volume and selling pressure making this stock appear that it could easily be sent down to its support around $19. Only the break of the prior support now resistance confirmed by a daily closing will support higher levels.

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) broke out to a new all-time high today, accompained by a strong volume suggesting higher levels. The consolidation and compression that has been going on in the last four months is very healthy. The technical chart still showing a bullish bias. KD line shows positive signs as %K line is rising on top over %D line and RSI continue moving up. I suspect the stock may continue to appreciate over the coming days.
