Stocks to Watch for December 10, 2015

Sarepta Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:SRPT) has been flagging bullishly just above the rising 13-day EMA. A break through the upper line of the flag could accelerate it higher.

bluebird bio Inc (NASDAQ:BLUE) daily chart seems to have bottomed for now. Could see potential a $7- $10+ move from here (short-term) Stop 50

FireEye Inc (NASDAQ:FEYE) is in the process of bottoming and I expect a pop above the 20-day EMA at some point in the coming days. From a technical standpoint, the MACD is rising and the RSI chart is showing some strength in this movement.

Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE) closed at $3.96 a share on strong money flow. Momentum picking up with MACD climbing and Slow Stochastic continues to trend higher. If the stock can break Wednesday's high, I think we will rally back to the $5 level.

Relypsa Inc (NASDAQ:RLYP) is flagging near resistance. Only a move above $30.46 could trigger a sharp move higher. From a technical standpoint, the outlook for the stock is relatively bullish.

Akorn, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRX) Stalking. If the stock can break today’s high of $37,49 we should see a strong follow through move.

Lion Biotechnologies Inc (NASDAQ:LBIO) More nice action above the 200-day EMA. I'm watching the stock closely for a breakout above 8.45, as the stock has been consolidating after the November run up and a break could continue the uptrend.

Stocks to Watch for April 16, 2013

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) The technical daily chart is calling for a correction, so watch for a break below 52.93 (50-day EMA) to trigger stops on longs for a move to 50. The key resistance level remains in the 56/57 area.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Technicals are oversold but remain neutral to bearish signaling sideways to lower prices possible in the near term. If it breaks below the key support level at 419, it's quite possible that we could see a move that will take the share price to 400 mark.

Akorn, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRX) Watch this one as it approaches the resistance area. Needs to take out 14.68. The break of the resistance with heavy volume should be the next buy point on AKRX.

MGM Resorts International (NYSE:MGM) Broke the 50-day EMA, more downside to come imho. May stop around 12 or may test the 200-day EMA.

Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc (NYSE:TC) Investors quickly bought the dip this morning and the stock displayed relative strength with a 4.3% gain. There is no change from my weekend comments. Long setup.

Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ:FNSR) Looks like a bottom play here. Many technical indicators starting to turn up and the volume has been good . I'm expecting FNSR to move up in the near term.

Akorn, Inc.(NASDAQ:AKRX) is still struggling with resistance near $13.25. My plan is to buy the stock when it breaks this level. If we're triggered at $13.25 my first target is $14. The MACD has produced a new buy signal on the daily chart.

eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY) - The 50-Day MA at 38.81 continues to act as a strong support in the near term and big sell-off could be seen only if the stock trades below 38.

Akorn, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRX) has proven its bullishness. In last trading session, the stock has given a breakout by closing above $14 price level, which has proved as a strong resistance in past trading sessions.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) is on High Alert for Wednesday as we saw a strong bounce today. I'm not yet sure if a significant bottom around 41 is in place. First positive confirmation, will be obtained on a move above 45.66 and strong second confirmation is obtained on move above 48.68. Unless these levels are taken out, the bias remains negative. Let's keep an eye on it.

InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC) Put a nice reversal candle today. The momentum indicators are attempting to turn up from oversold levels.  Will watch tomorrow for continuation. I have been saying that the stock is attractive for awhile now and I still believe so. InterDigital is becoming increasingly attractive for potential buyers and long-term investors. If you buy IDCC you have to be patient.

Wednesday's Stocks To Watch, May 23 2012

Akorn, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRX) tried to breakout today again after yesterday's breakout but failed to close near the highs. The stock pulled back during the day, however still closed higher than the high of the previous session, which is bullish to me. Lets see how this trades tomorrow.

Bought Pharmacyclics, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCYC) on Monday after a nice breakout. Today's action followed through nicely as this stock was up 4.5%. The technical chart show a continuation of the uptrend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas. However, both stochastic and the RSI indicator is reaching the top end which indicates that the stock may be reaching overbought condition soon. For the long term the stock should still continue to go up. Resistance: $32.94 Support : $27.42

Rosetta Genomics Ltd. (USA) (NASDAQ:ROSG) continues to perform strongly and appears poised to test the 200-day moving average line at $8.26.

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) continued higher today up over 1% as there was good follow through from the breakout yesterday.

Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ:CELG) bounced nicely off the 200 day MA. If it can clear the recent high of $71.75, I think it can get to the 50 day MA at $75

FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE:FE) was setting up nicely in this small consolidation pattern and I was expecting a breakout soon, however it seems as though it wants to continue consolidating. Looking at the technical chart the 20-day MA is moving up and hopefully this can provide some support in the next few days. I still like the stock here if it can hold that MA.

Stock Picks for Wednesday May 18, 2011

Akorn, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRX) - As long as the stock holds above the $6.50 support level the intermediate-term picture should remain positive. Fresh exposures may be considered on a move past $6.94, with a stop-loss at $6.50.

Radio One, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROIAK) may be close to breaking to new highs here. The stock has been consolidating the past few days and just recently started inching above most of the consolidation area. Volume is starting to pick up again and there could be a decent short squeeze if it clears the April high. Clearing $3.03 could be the beginning of a move to new highs. Shareholders may remain invested with a stop-loss at $2.68.

Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) - MACD is very weak heading for zero with falling rally. Downside pressure could intensify at any time. Next support is located at $230.55 followed by the psychological support at $225.

FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ:FORM) held up pretty well in a weak day. If it can climb back over the 50 day sma there is a good chance it will form a higher pivot low in this area and then challenge the highs set in April. I still like this stock and expect to see another upside move very soon. This company has no debt and about $333.2 million of cash, so they have about $6.58 a share in cash.
