Stocks to watch for Wednesday, March 09
eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY) - Despite the weakness in the past few weeks, the overall trend appears bullish. Only a drop below $31.11 ( 50-dma ) would be a cause of concern. On the upside, a rally towards the $33-$34 range appears likely. Existing shareholders could remain invested with a stop loss at $31.11. If the stop loss gets triggered, fresh buying may be considered on the evidence of support around the $30 level. The technical daily chart above shows the buyers are back after the stock hit the 50-DMA while ROC has hit oversold level despite weak signal from KD and MACD. Nevertheless, the long term trend is still bullish as the stock is still on top of 50-day and 200-day moving average with both moving averages pointing up.

Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) broke the downtrend line today on big volume and could eventually rally up to test the January highs. However there is a strong resistance to break around the $15 level. Only a close above this level would suggest further upside.

Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ:FNSR) is falling in the after-hours session after the company lowered its earnings outlook for its current fiscal fourth quarter to a range of 31 to 35 cents, compared with the 38 cents that analysts were expecting. The near-term outlook would depend on the price movement in the next few days. A drop below $27.38 would have negative implications that would push the stock down to the $21-23 range. Let's keep an eye on it.
