SNDK big mover , GTW a real hope !!
Another Big day for Sandisk !!!
We saw today another big rally in Sandisk after the announcement of the deal with Verizon Communications Inc. to sell a flash memory card for mobile phones at Verizon stores, and after the presentation of New Gadgets Unveiled at Trade Show.
Scandisk has reached the Overbought conditions , so perhaps we can have now some profit taking in this levels.
Gateway continues to show some resistance to go up, although that my opinion is that this share is cheap at these levels, because this company is turning to a profit again and growing fast, the only problem of this downtrend I think is related with the Insider Sellers. The company reported a net income of $15.1 million in the third quarter, compared with a $59 million dollar loss in the same period a year before. Gateway also grew 35% in the third quarter in terms of unit shipments, a reversal of the situation a few years ago when Gateway shipments steadily dropped every quarter. The new notebooks come as Gateway is setting out to expand into the corporate market. At present, the company serves mostly consumers and, in the business segment, small businesses, government agencies and schools. During the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show GTW has informed that is is planning to bring high-performance consumer desktop PCs that support Intel® Viiv(TM) Technology to market this quarter. The next generation of Gateway PCs will deliver vast performance and digital media benefits for entertainment and productivity, including next-generation graphics, home-theater-quality audio and enhanced entertainment capabilities.
Average of short term Indicators : HOLD
-According to the chart , we need to break the red line (~2.85 ) to go forward and perhaps now it will close the gap .
- Support : 2.69 and 2.51 Resistance : 2.85 and 3.02

BBY ( Best Buy ) - Best Buy said fourth quarter earnings would be near the top of its earlier guidance. UP 8%
CIEN ( CIENA ) - Without any news UP another 6% this week with a double of volume, perhaps short covering here.
