Celebrating 1.000.000 pageviews


Believe it or not , the sitemeter counter of AC Investor Blog has officially hit 1 million page views! Thank you to everyone who has continued to visit and support this site throughout it's years online ! Despite the fact that lot of blogs go above and well beyond that count, I’m pretty sure not many of them are personal blogs and contain posts written by only one person. Anyway, I think this call for a celebration. It’s a big milestone.

Some Stats
  • This blog has been on the web since October 2006
  • From October 2006 up until 4pm today, the blog has received 773000 visits and 1 million pageviews from 121 countries.
  • AC Investor is officially a contributor of Daily Markets and Wall Street Tip
  • Early this month this blog hit 500 readers via RSS and 287 via Twitter
  • The current daily traffic is around 800 unique visitors per day
I would like to take this opportunity and say thank you to all that have donated and contributed to my effort, for the suggestions and analysis that I have placed along the year. The donations are a good incentive to continue the excellent work that has been carried out; they allow these readers the privilege to be associated to my personal e-mail and to receive alerts via e-mail in real time of any possible transaction that may allow for immediate gains.

AC Investor Blog hit 500 RSS subscribers


Dearest Readers,


Today is a special date for AC Investor Blog and for me. My blog officially hit 500 RSS subscribers. According to Sitemeter stats, AC Investor Blog has had over 150,000 unique visitors in the last 6 months and hit a new historic mark of 767.000 unique visitors since it was started. This is really fast for me. Hopefully, it should continue on the rise from here on. My new goal is to hit 750 RSS subscribers. My prediction is that this will happen somewhere between January and March of next year. I just want to thank everybody who read my blog, send emails and posted comments. In addition, a special thanks to all of you who have been making donations for the work here done. Thank you very much. I don't forget you guys......

AC Investor Blog set a new record of visitors on Friday

AC Investor's Blog set a new record of unique visitors in a single day. On Friday 2.435 people, who made 2.882 clicks, were visiting AC Investor Blog. There is no a specific reason behind this rush of visitors. I'd just like to say that this site has also set a new record for me, more than 486.000 people have come to this site since was created, and I'd just like to say thanks to all visitors and friends.

AC Investor Blog set a new record of visitors

Good morning everybody!!! Let me start the day by saying “ Thank you “.


On July 26th AC Investor Blog set a new record of 2.284 unique visitors with 2782 hits in a day. My hits have gone up every month since October 2008. Last month I had 31.895 hits, grew 190% over the same month last year. This month in five days I have over 6.206 hits. Apparently, this blog is gaining a lot of momentum in the financial blogosphere. So, from me a big thank you. I would ask who to get involved as much as you can with the blog by leaving comments.

Ladies and gentlemen, this week the blog recorded the best week's traffic since was launched. More than 7339 people visited the blog during the last week. On Sunday the 29th March 2009 2.064 people, who made 2.337 clicks, were visiting AC Investor Blog. There is no a specific reason behind this rush of visitors. I’m kind of surprised….. to be frank. More than 2000 visitors on Sunday !!! Thanks

AC Investor's Blog for the second time this year recorded a mark above the 2000 page views in a single day. Most of the visitors came from U.K. and U.S. According to my statistics, it was not a particular post that caused this movement again, but perhaps a new wave of economical facts that pushed the interest of people to know more about the state of the economy in general.

AC Investor Blog has set a new high : 2028 unique visitors on Sunday

Hey Folks, Thanks once again for reading my blog. The number of visitors in a single day to the AC Investor Blog has set a new high. All week I have been seeing an increase in the number of visitors and yesterday I had 2028 visitors ( 2171 page views ) which is the first time the blog has past 2000 in a single day. The traffic is coming from different parts of the globe, and there is no particular post that brought this huge amount of people to here, it's the entire quality content that started to build up the traffic. I guess that shows how big AC Investor Blog is. Quality content produces curiosity and as a result traffic. Whatever the case is, I had the best traffic day ever and all of the benefits that come with it. That's something I've never dreamed of when I started this blog over 3 years ago. There is of course a lot of work behind this grow, I spend few hours every single day watching the site, writing the new articles, finding interesting economical news and replying to emails. Feedback is helpful. It gives me the energy to keep writing and it provides more trade ideas. Please send emails my way or, for those I know, conversation about what you'd like to see would be good. Guest bloggers are welcome, if you'd like to provide a post, please let me know. I love to see comments on the blog so don't hesitate to comment as well.

Retrospective of 2008

It's time to use this short-break in the markets as a good opportunity to do a retrospective of the previous year, showing you the total of visitors that daily come here, placing the blog in a level of international recognition in the financial blogosphere. To begin, I must tell you that during the year of 2008 have passed by here a total of 142.847 unique visitors ( page views 196.743 ) with an average of 11.903 unique per month ( page views 16.395 ) and 2975 unique per week ( page views 4098 ) . Those visitors came from different parts of the globe, but as is natural most of them from the United States. The readers via feeds also grew at a rate quite high, surpassing even the barrier of 250% compared to 2007. The content published here continues to be just informational and not with the intention to provide an indication of investment, or any other matter. I must always ensure that the trading of my ideas is always subject to possible external news and facts that can interfere with the correct reading of any technical analysis. As usual this is the traditional time for resolutions and makes concrete goals for the next year. I have a few resolutions for the New Year but I’ll focus just in my visitors and blogging. I want to build up to a consistent 20,000 visitors per month. I’m convinced in the potential to get there without foreseeing how. In conclusion, I must say that in general the year was excellent for the blog in all ways. I finish thanking you the confidence you have shown throughout this time and hope that the level of growth continue surprising or remaining at this level, thank you!!!

AC Investor's Blog Rocks !!!

I can't believe that AC Investor Blog had the best traffic week ever since I launched and told the world about it. Blogging has become a hobby for me, no one trader can negotiate while blogging. Since started this blog I never imagined that someday I would look to Sitemeter button over in the right column and see more than 1,400 visits in just one day (this past Tuesday hit yet another record), it was a bombastic surprise for me. The traffic coming from different parts of the globe, and there is no particular post that brought this huge amount of people to here, it's the entire quality content that started to build up the traffic. Quality content produces curiosity and as a result traffic. Whatever the case is, I had the best traffic day ever and all of the benefits that come with it. Become a professional blogger is not my ambition, I just want to share with others what I think and when I can, this is my blogging philosophy. I have a day job. Blogging has become a hobby but as a hobby full-time posting is nearly impossible for me. To be a successful blogger you need a lot of luck. But what you can control is quality, interesting, well written content. More sooner than later your audience will arrive just be patient, like I had. If you're an advertiser the numbers speak for themselves. 6734 visitors from Saturday to Friday and more than 7500 page views !!! AC Investor's Blog Rocks !!!
