Four Trade Ideas for Tuesday

SolarWinds Inc (NYSE:SWI) stock hit a new high on Monday and continues to draw interest. I would keep a close eye on this stock going forward it may make for a great trade. As long as the stock stay above $42,22, the bullish scenario still intact. From a technical standpoint the chart shows very strong bullish sign. First of all the stock is trading above both 50-day and 200-day moving average with both moving average pointing upwards. Then, the MACD indicator is rising above zero also indicating a buy. In addition, the accumulation/distribution line still show the stock is on the positive swing.

Dendreon Corporation (NASDAQ:DNDN) has been slowly creeping higher and I think it could be trading over $12 in the short term. Short term Traders can buy above $11 with stoploss of $10.74 and targets of 12.49-13. On the daily chart, the technical indicators show a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas.

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL) still needs to Take out the 50-Day MA at $7.38. Although the stock did not perform well this year we finally start to see some signals of rebound as the technical chart shows positive momentum is back. I'd look to the $7.4 level moving as the next buy point. If it passes that, then we have room to run to next resistance at $8.35. Let’s keep an eye on TSL.

Royale Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROYL) - Investors continued buying up this stock, as it surged again today this time to the tune of 9%. The stock warrants some attention this week. Bullish MACD cross on daily. Next resistance lies at 5.17 then 5.32

4 stocks to watch in the week ahead

Shares of Solarwinds, Inc. (NYSE: SWI ) joined the bull party today and made a new 52-week high of $33.68. Looking at the technical chart the stock is well above the three moving averages, which are all moving up. The bulls may continue their domination but stay cautious because some technical indicators are displaying negative divergences as they failed to make new highs. Honestly, I believe that a short correction may be in the offing but the bull rally is under no immediate threat.

Shares of Nike, Inc. (NYSE: NKE ) embarked on another leg of the strong bull rally that took it to a new 52-week high of 98.25 today on rising volumes. All three moving averages are rising and the stock is well above the three moving averages. The technical indicators are supporting the bullishness. The slow stochastic has moved up into the overbought zone and the MACD is moving up in the positive zone and is above the signal line. Watch the stock closely next week and once it breaks $98.25, get ready to jump in and buy the stock.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI) - The 50-day MA provided good support this week. So in short-term the bull market continues, but the momentum won't be regained till the high of 1.92 made last week is convincingly crossed. The technical indicators are showing mixed signals. The indicator slow stochastic had a bearish cross and dropped below the 50% level, but the MACD still above its signal line.

Zalicus, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZLCS) - Chart setting up very nicely here, break out past $1.2 is coming. On daily MACD is now positive. Stay tuned...

Stocks Watchlist For Thursday, Nov 10

Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE:BKS) was one of the few winners on Wednesday. The technical indicators are looking better now for the stock. The stock has broken the horizontal resistance line with heavy volume and looks like it will continue to run up. Looking at the daily technical chart the stock has just entered into a short-term bull market as the stock is on top of 20 day and 50 day moving averages. Other technical indicator such as MACD, is above 0 showing positive momentum while KD line also show buy signal as %K line is on top of %D line. Technically speaking the stock is now painting a “Bullish” picture. A move on BKS above $13.89 could spark a nice short-squeeze..... Short % of Float 10.6%....

TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT) - The daily chart shows stochastics extremely oversold, so we might see a slight retracement to around $6.01 or so. I like this stock for a long term hold. It's part of my portfolio and I intend to stay with it. The insider transaction chart also shows that the top executive such as director has been purchasing the stock recently.

SolarWinds, Inc. (NYSE:SWI) broke out on Wednesday and made a new 52-week high of $30.40. I'm keeping SWI on the list for the continuation move. The stock had big buyers in it all day and looks ready to make another move on Thursday. The technical chart shows a continuation of the trend with MACD and RSI in the Bullish areas. Watch the stock closely tomorrow and once it breaks $30.40, get ready to jump in and buy the stock.
