Stocks to Watch for November 13, 2013

Renren Inc (NYSE:RENN) has formed a strong bullish candle on daily and is right at a key resistance area at the confluence of its major exponential moving averages. A break of this area could quickly move the stock into the 3.8-4 range.

Nanosphere, Inc. (NASDAQ:NSPH) is inching closer and closer to a breakout point. Buying momentum is still positive and strengthening. Breakout watch above 2.29. Could be a high flyer on breakout.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) good relative strength compared to the market on Tuesday. Next buy point is when it clears 24.50 on heavy volume.

Pandora Media Inc (NYSE:P) is testing the breakout point of its ascending triangle pattern with higher lows putting pressure on the 28.19-28.26 area, a break of which could move the stock price significantly higher. On watch.

Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON) This technical daily chart looks really bullish. I'll be watching this stock closely tomorrow for a breakout above 109.33

Stocks to Watch for October 22, 2013

Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON) needs to take out $107.30. The break of the resistance line with good volume should be the next buy point on MON. The recent increase in trading volume and rising AC/DT suggests buyers are accumulating stock.

JDS Uniphase Corp (NASDAQ:JDSU) Broke out to new highs. Looks good for higher prices.

Vringo, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRNG) Volume starts to pick up. The stock could make a move to the upside. A break of $2.82 with force might give VRNG room to $3.06. Keep it on your watch list.

VirnetX Holding Corporation (NYSEMKT:VHC) broke out of a consolidation range on good volume. The technical chart shows the buyers are back and a possible test of August highs around $22 is very likely. The short-term trend is now bullish as the stock is on top of 9-day and 13-day exponential moving averages with both going up. In addition, the MACD is perking up and the RSI is moving up. I think the stock has room to go higher. Watch the stock closely on Tuesday.

Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) could be getting ready to break out. The AC/DT indicator shows a marked increase in accumulation. Break out watch over 42.86.

Century Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNTY) is setting up nicely to break into new highs. Buy point would be on the day it blows through $6.2 on heavy volume.

Top picks for Tuesday - Monsanto and Trinity Industries

Chart courtesy of www.stockcharts.com ( click to enlarge )

MON - After a gap and high volume surge above resistance, Monsanto shares settled back down with a falling wedge. These are corrective patterns designed to alleviate an overbought situation. With a falling wedge I look for a break in the upper trendline. If it breaks especialy with heavy volume, then bullish confirmation is confirmed. This means there is more upside and I think this is quite likely. Things to focus on technical chart is the huge spike in volume on Wednesday. It marked the end of the downtrend and the beginning of a new uptrend.

TRN - The short-term outlook for the stock is bearish. In the last trading session, the stock broke through its 50-day moving average and closed down $1,10 at $14.70. The technical daily chart is showing a slightly bearish bias. The MACD had just cut below its signal line. RSI is now below 50 and +DI crossed below –DI. Therefore, I am establishing a support zone around 14-14.10 for the stock and will expect a bounce or consolidation in this area. A break below the support at 14 will open the way for a further move lower to 13.13 and potentially as far as the defended 12.

Trade Ideas for Monday - INTC, GTW, MON, ADCT

Chart courtesy of stockcharts

Intel shares were up more than 4% on Friday closing at 24.24 after Goldman Sachs raised its rating to "buy" from "neutral". Looking at the chart Intel "INTC" has had a nice run over the past two months and made a nice trend higher. As seen by the chart, Intel breakout during this week a tremendous resistance at 23$, so now pullbacks in the stock should be valued as buying opportunities. I think stock should pullback to $23 ( resistance now becomes support ) per share before making the next move. From a technical perspective stock is trading in a Bull Market with s 50 dma on top of 200 day moving average. Keep an eye on INTC next week.

As I had posted here last week a possibility of a rumor in Gateway enter the Chinese market, now the rumor disappeared and became reality. According to the latest news from Gateway and available in financial sites, Gateway Confirms It Is Selling Computers in China " SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Gateway Inc. said Friday it has begun selling computers in China as part of a broader effort to increase its sales outside the United States. To enter the Chinese market, Irvine, Calif.-based Gateway said it has tapped China's largest electronics distributor, Digital China Holdings Ltd". Looking at the technical chart, It takes time to build a proper base, but it looks like GTW is close to breakout the downtrend channel as show the chart above, indicators have started to improve, so put this option in the table.

I like this chart. It is a bullish chart. MON broke out of an important consolidation area with excellent volume and will likely have the attention of the swing-traders in the next sessions.

Next week keep ADCT in your watch list, is close to break out over 19$.
