Stocks to Watch for September 17, 2014

General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) which had been flagging off its upmove from the 25 area to around 26.45, broke out of the flag today. A move above 26.45 could lead the stock to levels above 27.2 last seen in June.

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:LPX) showed buying strength all day. The stock is on the verge of breaking out and it could happen very soon. If it breaks 14.75 the stock will absolutely fly into the 15's right away.

The Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR) Flagging above the 20-day EMA. Watching over 52.72

Endocyte, Inc. (NASDAQ:ECYT) I went long again today at 7.96. The stock has been pulling back on lower volume from the most recent swing high of 9.35 and is now testing the previous breakout levels, now acting as support. If this holds, could resume the upside correction scenario testing 8.26 and 9.35.

Provectus Biopharmaceuticals Inc (NYSEMKT:PVCT) Still flagging. Over 1.20 this could move fast.

Norfolk Southern Corp. (NYSE:NSC) Nice bullish engulfing candle today on decent volume. Next break out at 109.70 The A/D line continues to scale new peaks.

Watchlist for Wednesday, September 5

Shares of D.R. Horton, Inc. (NYSE:DHI) surged 2.6% to $19.49 per share breaking out an important resistance on rising volume. We should be able to see some decent upside movement for the bulls here. From a technical standpoint the stock still in a very strong bull market with MACD on top of signal line and 50-day moving average on top of 200-day moving average.

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:LPX) broke out of a short consolidation period on solid volume. Short-term outlook for the stock is bullish.

ISIS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISIS) new highs hit today on expanding volume and looks ready to extend its gains. Buy the stock in dips with tight stop-loss at $13.01. Just an amazing Bio-stock to watch, just when you think its dead it comes back stronger than ever.  If the stock can break today’s high of $15.19, we should see a strong follow through move. ISIS will move very quickly, so keep a very close eye on the stock.

Zale Corporation (NYSE:ZLC) Continues to Breakout. Might pause but looking to add on any dip. Stochastics are showing momentum severely overbought and suggesting a possible exhaustion in the bullish run.

Modine Manufacturing Co. (NYSE:MOD) has a very interesting daily chart and could have a move soon. Resistance for this move is $7.28. The technical chart looks really bullish in short-term as the stock is trading above 50-day moving average and the 13-day MA crossed above 50-day MA recently. Heavy volume on up days. Worth watching for a breakout.

Career Education Corp. (NASDAQ:CECO) nice up move on expanding volume with a bullish stochastic cross. Next Res 3.41 then 3.44

Wednesday's Stocks to Watch, Aug 8

Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR) was a stock I alerted to my subscribers/twitter followers last month as a bottom trade at $15 ( Stocks to watch on Thursday July 19 ) and is now coming up to a big level as the stock is near its 200-day moving average. The short term technicals are now reading overbought and the likelihood of a pullback cannot be ruled out in the near term, before any further upside to $20. For those who did not have a chance to buy the stock, any pull back is your buying opportunity.

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:LPX) made a new 52-week high of $11.84 after gaining nealry 3.5% in yesterday's trading. The 52-week range for LPX is 4.41-11.84. The stock trend looks really positive and could move up further with resistance at $12. Immediate support is at 11.2-11 levels now. From a technical standpoint the stock is trading above all of three major moving averages while the MACD is positive and rising. Long Setup.

Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ:CLWR) has been on a remarkable run since last week. The medium term trend is turning positive as the stock is back above 50 day moving average. However, since RSI is overbought level there may be chance of short correction and for now $1.6 level will be hard to break.

From a technical standpoint chart shows a nice bullish stochastics cross combined with a strong bounce off the 50-day MA. This chart tells you that the place to be in Weatherford International (NYSE:WFT) is on the long side.
