Stocks that look ready to take off

Today's action in TSL confirms my opinion that the current rally has legs. Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL) broke the ascending triangle higher on very large volume. The technical chart shows buyers are back. With the surge today %K line is again on top over %D line showing the stock is back to new rally. A move towards $9.62 can be expected as long as $8.05 holds.

My new big pick is Cogo Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:COGO). The stock made an awesome move today breaking out of a major resistance line with volume backed confirmation. I went long at $2.34 as its quite possible we should see a short term move near $2.8/share. The technical chart shows bullish sign with %K line on top of %D line and MACD rising. Today’s action in the share price leads me to believe that we may see a reversal trend at this level. To sustain this point of view, stock needs to sustain actual level in the days to come, so stay tuned to her.

Looking at the technical chart of Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSIQ) there are some technical indicators lining up that may be indicating a rally is in the cards. The stock hit a lower low in the past week but the MACD and stochastics are higher. The RSI is also indicating a divergence as it was well below 30 last week but it just turned up from above 30. In addition, the stock broke out today above its downtrend line on heavy volume. There could be good upside in CSIQ so watch the stock closely on Friday.

FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ:FORM) broke out of the downtrend channel that has beenin effect since the middle of July. The breakout looks real good, and we sense significantly more upside at this stage. Also MACD shows positive divergences on daily.
