DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS) was a winner today. The stock rose 9 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $5.04. The stock has had a bearish bias during the past couple of weeks but the downward price movement was not accompanied by volume, which suggests that people are still holding the stock. Currently price is now at $5.04 level and based on MACD indicator we might see an upward move for this stock again. In the daily chart, there is a MACD crossover and RSI is near the 50% mark. The short-term targets are 5.18, 5.45 and then 5.61. Short-term support is at 4.85.

Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) - It is clear that the stock wants to move higher again, but too much caution right now. Once we get a couple of positive events, RMBS will move rapidly. The stock reacted to the $21 mark over the past two sessions and has suffered a small correction as shown in the chart above. Short term support for the stock is in the $20.7 to 20.5 region. There should be room for another leg upward once the stock digests this small correction. While the stock is correcting in the short-term, there are no clear signs of a top forming in the daily charts as of yet. Indicators are favoring longs with both positive RSI and positive MACD above the zero line. A move above $21.42 would mark a medium-term breakout. There is something interesting for this scenario occur, the February series shows a huge amount of calls at the 22 and 25 strikes, it looks like people are really convinced that stock will breakout over $22 and $23 soon. Let’s keep an eye on it.

InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC) reversed direction again around the $50 mark. This level is proving to be a strong resistance zone after the recent rally. A strong trend would not be in place unless the stock closes above this level. The near-term outlook would depend on the price movement in the next few days. A close above $50 would impart bullishness and would help the stock move higher. I like this stock on both the fundamental and technical basis.
