I continue to believe that a strong close above $19.51 is needed to pave the way for a rally towards the stock's previous peak at $20.54. The formation since July is however a bullish pattern with rising peaks that implies a positive undercurrent. Brinker International, Inc. (NYSE:EAT) could break above the resistance at $19.51 very soon. Traders with short-term perspective can buy the stock in declines with stop at $18. Long-term investors can hold the stock with deeper stop at $17.69.

Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:LVLT) is in a short-term uptrend from the $.83 bottom. Technical indicators are neutral and the stock is trading between 50- and 200-day SMA currently at $.96 and $1.23, respectively. The stock needs to take out resistance at the 1.23 area to continue higher.

The rally paused today and THQ Inc. (NASDAQ:THQI) slipped 4%. The bulls are still facing a strong resistance at the 200sma but I suspect the stock is about to break out higher. Technically, RSI is in the highly overbought zone, indicating that a corrective decline is in the offing, however the averages in MACD are still above the zero line of the indicator, indicating the bullish trend to be intact. Only a cross-over below the "0" line again could indicate bearishness. The stock has strong support at $4.84.

GigaMedia Limited (NASDAQ:GIGM) is extremely oversold and ready for a technical rise. It's hilarious how much this stock has fallen without really no reason. What makes the stock compelling is that it's selling below book value of $4.43 per share. I'll be watching this stock closely for an entry point.
