Stock Market Ideas for Friday - Dell , Energy Conversion Devices and Suntech Power Holdings Co.

STP was one of the big winners on Thursday, as the stock traded up on their earnings. The technical indicators are looking better now for the stock. STP has broken the upper channel line of this short term downtrend line and is now very bullish with the breakout having a large spread and volume. Looking at the daily technical chart the stock has just entered into a bull market as the stock is on top of 50 day and 200 day moving average. Other technical indicator such as MACD, is above 0 showing positive momentum while KD line also show buy signal as K line is on top of D line. Technically speaking the stock is painting a “Bullish” picture. The share price is likely to move to the target zone of the 17.60-18 range. For the long term the stock should still continue to go up.

ENER is a Solar stock that has taken a beating the past few months. The stock is at top end of the downtrend, but has the potential to reverse this trend. I like these formations and expect the stock to move quickly once it break through resistance at $10.84. Once ENER does break through, I expect to see heavy volume pushing the stock higher.

DELL is trading down after hours on Thursday, after the company released earnings below the market's expectations. This stock should gap down on Friday, and be one of the higher volume stocks on the day. Support for DELL is $14.81, which was the low on October 2.
