AIG - company said fourth-quarter net profit rose more than eight-fold from last year.
GPS - The Gap company said late Thursday that fourth-quarter net profit fell 35 percent on weak sales at its two main casual clothing chains and dependence on holiday season discounts.
UNH - said it expects to become current with its U.S. financial filings by March 15, which would be a major step as it tries to emerge from a stock options scandal.
KSS - Kohl's Corporation reported a nearly 30 percent profit jump in the fourth quarter, as it benefited from strong sales of exclusive brands.
