Stock Picks for Friday, October 29

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is trading higher after hours, as the company released strong earnings. Right now, the technical chart is in a short-term bullish mode and it's really hard to tell until when it would be. The new bullish trend on my daily chart looks good. Key resistance is now located at 27.17, a break above this level will confirm the bullish trend and the following uptrend will take price up to 31 zone.

Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) strong enough to say....and the Bulls are back. EK traded higher today, after the company released strong earnings late Wednesday. It gapped higher at the open and traded to the upside all day. The stock broke out of its defined small range that had support at $3.85 and resistance at $4.35. Conservative target price is $5.15, with a possible of a bigger target price at $5.43. The technical indicators are looking better for the stock. MACD and KD show buy signal as MACD is back above signal line and %K line is on top of %D line.

Royale Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROYL) was up over 2.9% with very unusual volume on no now news. As a result for today's trading session, its volume traded daily went to a 3-month high. Looking at the technical chart, it seems the stock broke the resistance area at $2.07 and has moved decisively to the upside. That’s a powerful sign that high prices are likely to continue. Long positions may be considered on price weakness, with a stop-loss at $1.96. The next resistance it could encounter is at $2.20. Once that level is breached, the next resistance could be the 2.50 psychological area then 2.59. In addition, the On Balance Volume is increasing, this clearly shows that smart money is moving into the stock.
