Stocks to watch on Thursday Dez 31

RZ has been in a strong downtrend since June. The stock had an interesting day, as it broke out of the range and closed near the highs. Today’s high was $1.46, which is resistance for the continuation move on Thursday. There is a lot of upside in this trade, so keep RZ on your screen tomorrow.

ETRM had a very strong day on Wednesday, as the stock broke out of its channel on the way to closing up $0.17 on the day. Wednesday’s high was $0.71, which is resistance for Thursday’s follow through move. The move I saw today could be the first leg of a bigger move, but we might see consolidation over the next day or so. You want to keep an eye on ETRM so you do not miss when the stock does break through resistance.

OSIR had a slight bounce today, as did most of the stocks in its sector. The stock looks like it wants to make a move. I'm buyers of OSIR once it breaks $7.50, which is the top of this range. If the stock can break resistance, we should see a strong upside move. You want to watch OSIR closely on Thursday.

PLUG pulled back on Wednesday, but the volume was on the light side and could be a one-day event. I like how this stock broke out of a sideways channel on heavy volume in yesterday's session, which is why I will watch it again on Thursday. Resistance stays at $0.78, which was Today’s high of the day. Use your stops if the stock does not hold up.

Stocks to watch on Wednesday Dez 30

ALU starts showing ‘buy' signals again. The chart of Alcatel is now much improved after Tuesday’s action. The RSI has reversed again the course and stock finally closed above its 13-day moving average, usually this is a Bullish signal. In addition stochastics are showing high oversold conditions, which may bring some buyers back. Key resistance is now $3.35. If it passes that, then we have room to run to next resistance at $3.52.

SprintNextel was a winner on Tuesday. The stock rose $0.15, or 4.4 percent, to $3.81. S has had a bearish move recently. The downward price movement is not accompanied by volume, which suggests that people are still holding the stock. Based on KD indicator we might see an upward move for this stock again. The short-term targets are 3.83, 4 and then 4.4. Short-term support is at 3.65.

PLUG closed at 0.79 on Tuesday, up 0.08 cents points for the day. The technical indicators are looking better now for the stock. PLUG has broken the major resistance line of this downtrend and is now very bullish with the breakout having a large spread and volume. This means there is more upside. Indicators are now showing signs of recovery. The stock could move to the immediate target zone at $0.9-0.91.

More than 4000 visitors in a single day !!! Thanks

It's time to celebrate with all of you !!!! AC Investor Blog for the first time since was created surpassed the 4000 visits in a single day. Today my blog has got more than 5000 page views, well 5164 to be exact at this point of time. A little improvement here, and another improvement there, with patience and lots of hard work the result finally happened.


So I want to thank all my dear readers and blogging friends for the role that each and everyone had in the course I've been doing. Many thanks for the comments, the friendship and the support. At this moment, I don't have the final data, but I think it can hits a new record later on today, because the traffic still too high.

Stocks to watch on Tuesday Dez 29

OCNF is bouncing off lows that were set last week and could be ready to move much higher. Resistance is $1.01, which reflects Monday’s high of the day. Looking at the daily chart, I see a bullish divergence signal as the stock makes lower lows in price, while stochastics climb out of oversold conditions with higher lows. I will watch the stock closely on Tuesday as this stock will move quickly and I want to keep it on our screen throughout the day.

MPEL looks to have found support at these levels and could make an upside move soon. I'm watching the stock on Tuesday and I'm buyer if the stock can break through Monday’s high of $3.49. If the stock does break resistance, we should see a good short-term bounce.

OSIR hit resistance again on Monday, but did not break through. This stock is setting up for a nice upside move and I'm going to be there when it occurs. Technically, my model remains long in short-term targeting $8. The Relative Strength Index is moving higher, which is a sign of growing strength in the stock. Also the MACD is giving a positive indication. Keep a very close eye on the stock as it will move quickly once it breaks through resistance.

The World's Tallest Dog - George

As many already know, I have a strong passion for dogs and love spending time with them. I have two dogs of my own, and enjoy the companionship and bonds a dog offers. If someone cares, I’d like to share this amazing information that caught my attention early this morning with my fellow readers. George is "small" giant Danish breed dog , which measures 2.1 meters from nose to tail and is one of the strongest contenders for the biggest dog in the world by Guinness World Records. The current holder of the title, Gibson, of the same race, died of cancer last August.

Now the owners of George, David and Christine Nasser, awaiting confirmation from Guinness, in the category of biggest dog in the world. David says that George consumes 50 kg of food every month and sleeps alone in his huge bed. David and Christine made George from their 7 weeks of life, but never expected that this would become so big. For this reason, they had to change it to a huge bed, since he no longer fit in their bed, where he slept until then.

Dr. William Wallace, Buena Pet Clinic in Tucson, U.S., who reviewed the documentation for the Guinness, said: "In 45 years of experience working with giant dogs, George is undoubtedly the greatest dog that already saw.


David, the owner, is now to speed the process of acquiring the record, because other dog owners giants also seek to acquire the same record. While waiting for the results, the dog-star George deals with his new legion of fans in your Facebook page and Twitter account. Today, there is no escape from this social projection.

Stocks to watch on Monday Dez 28

ADCT had a very bullish move last week breaking several resistance lines with large volume. The stock has broken out of a 4 month downtrend. ADCT has made a transition from down trend to uptrend. The price is currently above the 5 day simple moving average, 10 day simple moving average and 20 day simple moving average respectively. The MACD chart is still showing an up trend with the MACD indicator above its signal line and is indicating further strength. The RSI value is currently above 50 but it has not reached the overbought territory. The short-term trend is bullish and a move to the 6.9-7 range appears likely. ADCT has definitely changed the trend...

CTIC - The technical daily chart is showing a slightly bullish bias. MACD is creeping up but it is still below its signal line. RSI is increasing and has cut above the 50 level. The –DI is now above the +DI and ADX is increasing. The short term stochastic signal is also showing some positive sign. Let’s see whether the stock can gather enough momentum to break through 1.162. If the Bulls are able to push through this level, there will be another rally towards 1.22.

Stock Picks for Thursday - Curis, Sirius XM Radio Inc. and ADC Telecommunications

ADCT has been one of the weakest stocks the past three months, but Tuesday’s move could be the start of a reversal. The increase in volume is telling us that buyers are coming in and expect to see this stock go higher. If this is the start of an upside move, we will see heavy volume again in the coming sessions. An aggressive trader may want to buy ADCT here. The price can head towards the $6.56-$6.6 zone. If this zone is surpassed, getting to $7.11 would be a possibility. Add to your position once there is a close above $6.6. On the technical daily chart we can see the short term bearish trend line has been violated to the upside. The bias is now bullish in nearest term but remains neutral in medium term. With KD rising we could see possible rally coming for the stock. Let's keep an eye on ADCT as i think momentum will pick up.

SIRI has been slowly moving down the past few days on increasing volume. This stock has been selling off since mid-November. The short-term outlook remains bearish and a drop to the $0.543-0.55 range appears likely. Short positions may be considered with a price target of $0.543-0.55 and a stop-loss at 0.599. The weak outlook would be negated on a close above $0.60. A close above this level would warrant liquidation of short positions.

CRIS has been on fire the past few weeksand it doesn’t look like the trend will change soon. The stock hit a new 52-week high of $3.16 during the day, vaulting over its previous high of $3.09 set early this month. The technical chart is still showing buy signal with stock trading above 50 day and 200 day moving averages, and with MACD on top of 0 and K line on top of D line. CRIS has a lot of upside potential, so watch the stock closely.

ADCT - ADC Telecommunications - The stock broke resistance on Tuesday, which should be the start of another upside move.

ETFC - E*TRADE Financial Corporation - Chart looks bullish in all time frames. There could be a possible takeover target according to many sources. Watching for a close above $1.79 on heavy volume.

AIG - American International Group had a great day on Tuesday. $32 is the next resistance level that if broken, could send shares back to retest $33.

S - Sprint Nextel - I expect to see a good upside move once the stock breaks through resistance now at $3.91.

BAC - Bank of America Corp - Watching for a close above $15.86 ( 50-day moving average )
LVS - Las Vegas Sands Corp. - Watching for a close above $16.07 ( 50-day moving average )
CRIS - Curis - Chart looks bullish in all time frames. Watching for a close above $3.09

Stock Picks for Wednesday - Sprint Nextel Corporation, ADC Telecommunications and E TRADE Financial Corporation

S traded higher again on Tuesday as the stock ended the day near highs. The strength at the end of the day tells us to expect continued buying on Wednesday. I expect to see a strong upside move once the stok breaks through resistance now at $3.91. Keep "S" on your radar again on Wednesday as we should see a move very soon.

ETFC consolidated on Tuesday as the stock ended up $.01 on the day. The stock looks to be setting up for an upside move, which is why I will continue to watch over the next few session. Resistance is $1.79, which reflects Friday’s high of the day.

ADCT broke resistance on Tuesday, which should be the start of another upside move. I'm watching the stock again on Wednesday and I'm buyer once it breaks through Tuesday’s high of $6.37. There looks to be good upside in this move, so keep a close eye on ADCT for Wednesday’s trading day.

Stocks to watch on Tuesday Dez 22

Speculative plays

JDSU bounced off the 10 day moving average again on Monday and closed near the high of the day. The next major resistance area for stock is $8.23-$8.25. Bullish on JDSU right now!

CBAI - Huge day on Monday for CBAI id like to see this stay above 0.008. Lots of momentum on this breakout though I think its very possible we could have another up day today.

AIB - Allied Irish Banks - AIB exploded higher on Monday. The volume was very nice so keep an eye on this stock during the rest of the week.

RMBS - Rambus can pop big time on any positive settlement news.
SONS - Sonus Networks, Inc - Watching for a close above $2.25
CRIS – Curis - Is on the top of my watch list due to the recent price action, volume, and momentum.
LTUS - If we can get a solid breakout above $1.30 that then I think $1.50-$ 2 is in plain sight.
S – SprintNextel - If S breaks above $3.85, this could be the start of a new uptrend which could take the stock back into the $4's.
CTIC - Cell Therapeutics, Inc. - Watching for a close above $1.18.

Stock Market Ideas for Tuesday - JDS Uniphase Corporation and Allied Irish Banks

I'm watching JDSU because it looks like the stock wants to do something. The stock was strong on Monday as the stock closed up $0.16 on the day. I'm buyer of JDSU if it can break through Monday’s high of $8.01. If the stock breaks resistance, you will see the stock move very quickly as traders like to hop onto the stock once it gets going. Keep JDSU on your radar for Tuesday.

AIB was a winner on Monday, as the stock ended the day up $0.62. The stock closed strong on the day, which leads me to believe there is another move on Tuesday. Let’s see whether the stock can gather enough momentum to break through $4. If the Bulls are able to push through this level, there will be another rally towards $4.33.

Stocks to watch on Monday Dez 21

Biotechnology has been identified as the one of the leading technologies of this century with the potential to address newer cures and bring about a marked advancement in the field of medical applications. Most techniques and applications in the field of biotechnology and has been generally accepted, which has generated an impressive revenue of growth in some stocks. Biotechnology investing has been hot over the last year and is currently considered to be the future by many experts in the market. I assume that conviction too. However, biotechnology investing is not that easy as people think. It is a task that requires a set of special skills so that you can spot the best company instantly. If you have being reading my blog since September, you may have noticed that I started to focus my technical analysis in some Biotechnology stocks, CTIC, CRIS and CBAI. Honestly, I have a huge list of Biotechnology stocks that I would like to own, but the money is not enough for all of them and I just invested in few of them. My favorite stocks are : CRIS , CTIC and CBAI.

I bet on Curis rising because:

1- The investment funds are on an upward trend (http://www.mffais.com/cris). Example, Arnhold and S Bleichroeder Advisers Llc have about 20% of Curis and are trying to increase this quota. This fund works as a "strong hand" to hold the tittles. They have 13 million in stocks (30 September), if Curis falls to $2, they will loose 13 million dollars. Taking into account the number of stocks they have, they surely have more information than the average investor. If the funds buy ... I do the same.

2 - The way trading is being done, will it be accumulation or distribution ??? I wage strongly on accumulation. The stock has been under strong accumulation since the beginning of November as chart shows. There is always more pressure from the buyers side. There are always considerable bids from the buyers side, just waiting for the patience to run out and in this way obtain more stock.

3-Besides this and in a regular way he will receive millions from the Debiopharm, as this drug passes several clinical tests.

From a technical standpoint, chart looks bullish in all time frames. Technical indicator MACD is indicating a bullish signal as it is above the signal line and at the same time above the center line. It just hit new all time highs a few weeks ago ( $3.09 ) and the subsequent pullback has been rather tame. It looks like the stock is in a well defined trading range and it's worth watching to see if it can break through the range soon. If the markets show some strength , then CRIS could have enough strength to test the recent highs at $3.09 and can easily break it. I am a huge fan of CRIS for the long term. Until this proves otherwise I'm buying on dips.
